Deliver Us The Moon is a Sci-Fi thriller set in an apocalyptic near future where Earth's natural resources are depleted. In an effort to solve the energy crisis, global powers created the World Space Agency and secured a promising new source of energy on the moon.
The World Space Agency colonized and operated from the moon until one fateful night all communications with Earth ceased and the energy source was lost. Now, years later, you assume the role of Earth's last astronaut on a do-or-die mission to investigate what happened and save humanity.
During this adventure, your only companion is a small robot named ASE. Together you will traverse the moon, explore abandoned facilities, gather clues and ultimately uncover the secrets and hidden agendas of those long gone!
Will you save mankind or be forgotten in the dark abyss of Space?

This game has all the basics to make a 5 star game. Graphics superb, story superb but the controls kill it.
Inability to rebind is bad enough but even without that its a nightmare. the grab/pickup function is too hit and miss. open a locker to get oxygen, try to pick it up and you close the locker instead. add to that your character has to be perfectly aligned or it shows nothing. such a shame.
The story and gameplay are very good. It has multiple language, voice and text. Controls are good, puzzles are fun, and moving in space is also fun. It's linear, but it doesn't get bothersome. Overall it got me gripped till the end.
What I didn't like though is there is no save feature (bad design in my book). That said, the autosave is frequent enough so you don't have to play too long if you have to stop in between.
Also, and I won't give spoiler, but the ending is ... meh ! It lacks logic and could have been better. Not to mention that there's a couple of loose ends that could have been better tied up with at least an epilogue.
The story is interesting enough to entertain me and I really like the setting. The only problems I have with this game are the puzzles, which repeat quite often, and the really annoying stealth sections. The developers should have concentrated more on the story and less on annoying gameplay elements that only artificially prolong the game, which I don't think is necessary.
The game opens with you doing a lot of walking until you get to a timed section where you have only 15 seconds to input a 7 step launch sequence without it even being clear where all the things are in front of you as they aren't highlighted or specifically visible. when the game reloads you just end up in the same spot and you can't progress. very cool, fun game design.
