Deliver Us The Moon is a Sci-Fi thriller set in an apocalyptic near future where Earth's natural resources are depleted. In an effort to solve the energy crisis, global powers created the World Space Agency and secured a promising new source of energy on the moon.
The World Space Agency colonized and operated from the moon until one fateful night all communications with Earth ceased and the energy source was lost. Now, years later, you assume the role of Earth's last astronaut on a do-or-die mission to investigate what happened and save humanity.

DX12, HDR, Exclusive Fullscreen, rebindability in controller. Apparently the devs were aware of these issues back in 2019 and had exchanges with players about patches addressing all these issues. So 2 years and still in a broken state.
Unacceptable. Refunded.
I'm a big space fan. I play Kerbal Space Program with thousands of game hours, Orbiter, Star Citizen, Mass Effect, Space Engineer you name it as long as its space related.
For the price this game is a scam. Pay it 5 bucks no more. That's what its worth but hey, well, thats just my opinion man.
Despite all my hype and hope i recognize everything said against this game is sadly true. I don't want to just sh*t on it cause these guys really tried but it's not a good game. Its short, gameplay is non existent, writing is atrocious and i cant feel empathy for any character, graphics are ok in some areas and even with RTX on and all the master race gimmicks its not even that beautiful.
Audio is not bad at all for what its worth though.
I'm pretty disappointed by this game and hope the studio will try again with something more consistent.
I'll keep it brief: if you enjoy narrative-driven games and non-repeating puzzles with a good flow as well as games where the developers don't "hold your hand", give this one a try. It really IS a complete experience and not some episodic nonsense: it has a cool beginning and a satisfying finalé. You'll get to float about in zero-g, roam around in a lunar rover, hop across the Moon surface and make a cute little friend along the way.
The reason it gets 4/5 are these:
- There's an awkward QTE action scene which is so out of place it's baffling (IMHO).
- The game is well optimized for the first 2/3 of the story, but the rest... Unless you have a fairly descent GPU with at least (!) 1GB of dedicated RAM (GTX 970 or GTX 1060 should do), the last two or three large segments of the game will at some places turn into a stuttering fiasco, which will (yes, it WILL for you too if you're experiencing those even a little bit) culminate in a giant slideshow finalé where you really need to have complete control to beat the last challenge, but the frame-rate drops are so jarring that I believe this was the first time I had to retry 4 times not because of my lack of skill, but due to having to deal with a frame-rate of 2-4 fps AND try to focus on the objective. Changing graphics and resolution to low settings don't help much since it's all about fast GPU memory and plenty of hardware shading units this game requires in certain sections.
BUT, having said that, I do not regret playing and completing this captivating and heart-warming story a single bit.
Oh, yeah: make sure not to skip the credits!
I ll keep it short so:
+Nice graphics
+Full Dub with high quality
+Feels real enough in zero-g and on the moon,
+Different gameplays (no-g, rushing for air, driving,...)
+About 5 hours and doesnt overstay it's welcome
+Some secondary plots are nice and can even feel touching at times
+Atmosphere of some places really hits the mark
-Main plot feels a bit non-sensical on some keypoints and never felt interesting to me
-Gameplay loops become easily to spot after 1 or 2 times and break immersion
-Some puzzle and platforming really make you feel like you are playing a game, not discovering a story
-No remapping of the keys which is not that much of an issue BUT...
--No option to change the mouse speed and that is really a major pain in the ass throughout the game:
You will feel like you are strugling in syrup when you want to check your surrounding which doesnt give any motivation to explore the environment. Found a post by the developers on steam to turn off the mouse smoothing and thanks god for that or i d have stopped after the first 10 minutes... but even then it remained way crappier than any PC game have any right to be.
--QTE that may outright kill you and send you back to re watch the same 30 seconds video... why?
So yeah 5/10 do not buy over 10€ and ideally get it at 5 if it ever gets there I followed a friend advice when I bought it and I can say that I won't be recommanding it to any of my friends.
