Death to Spies

Its ANOTHER PROFANELY STUPIDLY IMPOSSIBLE difficulty piss take, even on so-called "easy"! The first mission was ok - it was challenging, but fair, and the stealth aspect even felt like playing "Manhunt" a little. So at first, I was thinking of giving this 7½/10 (and declaring I'd FINALLY found a decent GOG title!) But then came the second mission. After 100+ fails I just had to rage quit. The game has lasted barely more than two hours before being shelved. It's almost as fucking bad as that "Commandos" piece of shit for stupid difficulty! The UI is also fiddly and your character is slow and clumsy. These were not much of a problem on the first mission where you kept hidden and/or in disguise. You did not need to do anything quickly. Slow and steady worked. But in the second mission stealth was IMPOSSIBLE, there were enemies in every single square yard of the map! So you needed fast combat and quick reactions, but the UI and your fat dumb slug of a character could provide NONE of that! Maybe I should have tried using one of the silenced Mosin sniper rifles? As long as you can have enough ammo to down the 2000 guards on the map, at long range and silenced is the only way I can even think of having half a prayer at doing this mission! The vehicle driving sections were also very poor..... vehicles had absolutely no turn on them, and the camera angles, over which you had no control, just took the piss! What was initially 7½/10 soon dropped to 5/10 I'm afriad..... YET ANOTHER GOG title I should NOT have wasted good money on! Oh, and your character looks like a total Neanderthal - you should see his brows! Even "The Hulk" would be envious of those brows! Maybe I'll go back to it again sometime with the cheats, but I've still over 100 other GOG games I've wasted good cash upon to try out, I've just not got the patience for games, like this, that cause so much irritation - and cheats kinda spoil things sometimes!

This games existence is an insult to the Hitman franchise.

"As captain of the 4th department of Smersh," -I can not belive it, the player has to fight for a sadistic communisten agency who commited thousands of warcrimes??! Bye-bye GoG!
