Description
DAYMARE: 1998 is a third-person survival horror with hardcore survival mechanics and hard to kill enemies. It requires a strategical approach to combat and puzzles and offers a multi-character point of view on the story, revealing a deep and obscure lore.
The scene is set with a secret research facility, a deadly chemical weapon and a special security team to investigate this incident with the potential to become much more than just a security breach. Follow the steps of an elite soldier, a helicopter pilot and a forest ranger, as they play out their roles in an event that transforms one peaceful small town into a deadly zone and its citizens into bloodthirsty monsters. pretty descent for an indy title
if u love horror survival u might enjoy this despite its quirks. i give 4 stars since it is an indy title the defs deserve some praise

Good try for a RE clone.
I´m problaby almost at the end of chapter 2 soo... this review is to this point. The game tries to be a Resident evil/ Silent Hill/ Dino Crisis clone. You have the classic RE4 style action, the sometimes hallucinations of Silent Hill and the mixture of medicine to have different types of effects like in Dino Crisis. The game is more or less enjoyable. My complaint is, like most Resident evil clones, the enviroment is too static. The character model, despite the gun swinging on it's back, is very dull and during the cutscenes, the characters are too stiff. This was probably their first efford in making a RE style game... nevertheless... it's better than most if not all before him. I give a 4 star review for efford and hope they did better in Daymare 1994.
