game is hard so hard , and that why make it so good game

Rating: 5/5 In short: A dark and gritty adventure that takes strategy gaming and risk management to new hights. Noteworthy: + Very fun but unforgiving core gameplay + Great replay value due to many "hero" classes and variations + An interesting dark narrative which is subtly interwoven with the gameplay + Sound design and voice acting is spot on (the quotes of the narrator will be forever imprinted into my memory) + Awesome and atmospheric art style (I love it!) + Great DLC which expand on the core game in interesting ways - Difficulty may be overwhelming at first Appendix: This is centainly NOT a game for casual gamers who are looking for a cheap thrill. The game teaches you that extremely fast.

i love this game .... i have it on the switch and at first it pissed me off on how hard it was ..then i had a big OH OK moment ...relizing you have to focus on your town and what not ...not the characters so much and now its one my favorite games right now ...the music ,the characters and the atmoshpere are really great ...dont pass it upi i give it a 4.7 out of 5 dont get mad at it at first give it a chance and you will see what i mean

Darkest Dungeon has an incredibly good setting and is very well implemented visually and audio. The narrator is great, unfortunately the audio thing repeats itself over time. The difficulty is really an annoying. But overall I can recommend it. Link to my Story Movie: https://youtu.be/wFbQGj7qWyI

I've been playing this for a few days, and mostly enjoying it. Production quality is top notch. But I'm realizing that the game isn't challenging so much as randomly unfair for no reason other than to feel challenging. As an example, I just lost an entire party to heart attacks less than three battles into a dungeon against enemies that I've fought and beaten dozens of times before. There was literally nothing I could have done about it, they all just dropped one after another. I realized right there that I was done with this game. What a waste of money!
