AWESOME!

Absolutely great game. Visuals are stunning, music is great, story is captivating, and characters feel just alive. So far I am enjoying this game so much. Despite the fact that my computer specs (acording to the internet) should not even be able to run the game, it plays flawlessly. CP2077 does it's own thing and does it really well. I was sceptical becuase I played all three witcher games before and finished only the first one, the other two bored me so much I just couldn't get in to them. So I was sceptical about CP at first but just a few minutes in to the game and I've already fallen in love with this game. I can already tell you that this game will be the next skyrim for me. Absolutely stunning in all the aspects that I was interested and boy did CDPR deliver... hell overdeliver. A better Fallout 4

Bugs and issues aside, the gameplay feels much more like Fallout 4 with Borderlands loot mechanics in a GTA V world than an immersive sim like Deus Ex (which at least I was lead to believe the game was going to play as). The story is intersting as is the world and the soundtrack is good, but enemy AI feels like that of Fallout 4 and the Police were better done in GTA 3. Like Fallout 4 while you are a custom character, you still have a predefined prologue and voice with minimal dialouge options. While stealth and non-lethal are options, it doesnt feel very rewarding and feels like more of a chore than challenge Upgrades and Perks feel almost meaningless with Sights giving 0.0x% modifiers and the skill tree being almost ignorable in the way spec.ing a build not locking you into a style of play determined by the skills you choose as a player. When I started thinking and playing Cyberpunk as less of an RPG and more of a GTA style looter-shooter (a la Fallout 4), I began to enjoy the game more. It's still disapointing comparing the released game to what the marketing suggested the game was, instead of a 'next-gen openworld game' we got a slightly better 2015 game

Wonderful story; Unpolished gameplay

First the cons (bugs aren't included, since they are obvious): - Lifepath choice doesn't matter THAT much. There are certain events which playout differently but you end up the "same" V. - Character customization isn't as deep as I thought it was. It's not even possible to change your look in-game. - Gunplay feels clunky. The hitboxes can be of at times, especially with melee combat. -The AI needs an overhaul. detect you instantly, or are unalerted in a "loud" (when they should be actively attacking you) situation. - Now to the biggest problem in my opinion: The World is big and full of life at first glance but when you treat this game as an Open-World exploration game you can be frustrated. There are not many random events occurring; you wont be rewarded as much as in other Open-World games (Skyrim, RDR2); the NPCs will only spawn in your FOV; etc. Now to the positives, because there are many: - The voice actress of V did a phenomenal job. I could feel her emotions within her voice from sorrow to excitment, stress to relief. She brought V to life.Through my playthrough and beyond she made me feel the emotions V felt, which is incredible. -The soundtrack is fire. from the very beginning the soundtrack caught me in a storm. It brings so much tension and helps intensifying emotions throughout the whole game. Also, the radio stations play bangers all the time. - The world design is amazing. The contrats between the colours of Night City and the cold minimalism of the Corps (which run the city) underlines the theme and moral of CP 2077. The city of big dreams is just a shallow shell for corps. - The story is well written too are the characters V meets. The story had an emotional impact unlike any other game or medium I have ever comsumed. My conclusion: CP 2077 is an incredible experience. Treat it as a "story-driven with an Open-World" and not an "Open-World with a story"- game, then it shines. It needs polishing and I can tell that is was released unfinished.

A big city, and CDPR "is a big dreamer"

Not much to say other than the title. There are a lot more in-depth reviews in this section about all the bugs, technical problems in case one wants to get an idea of the possible problems they might get into at this time it they want to play the game. For me, personally, I've had none of the technical problems that I've read about online. ( i have a: i7 smth, 1070 gtx, 16 gb ram ) No random crashes, severe technical bugs or whatnot. Game is pretty full of bugs and a big discrepancy between polished / top quality content and some that is sub-par, but still what is there is really enjoyable ( atm I have around 90-100h of play time, and main story is not even half-way done ) I went on the guns path testing different styles of gun-play, from cod-style run / cover, melee style stealth with sneaking behind opponents and neutralizing them, ranged stealth with silenced revolver and crit headshots and also slow-mo head first. Also went around doing melee style hacking up-close and quick-hacking stuff during fights. It's all satisfying and I tend to "mix it up" as I get bored. Most of the gameplay systems are pretty well designed with some of them lacking some finishing touches to make them final. Crafting armor / clothes is missing legendary specs ( recipes ). Right now it seems to only find them the first time you visit a store. Personally I would've liked smth like getting specs as you disassemble stuff since there's a ton of unique items. Also you cant customize colors on crafted items. I can give other examples as well. Overall I had a blast playing the game, and I really enjoyed both the story, character development as well as the huge amount of side-quests and easter eggs. There are some parts that I wont't forget too soon like Johnny's intro ( music + presentation ), Judy's line of quests etc From a big dreamer to another, you did good CDPR. :) Lots of bugs that still require attention but it wasn't supposed to be an easy road. Amazing but flawed.

I really love this game. The story is amazing and the voice acting is incredible. I enjoy the gameplay and there are lots of options. But the bugs hold it back. Currently I can't go any further on one of my saves due to the 8mb limit and that is really not acceptable. I haven't even been able to do everything yet. Add to that numerous visual and technical bugs and it's a bit of a mess. With more time this could really be something truly great, but overall I've enjoyed my experience anyway.
