Glad I never take rides on the Hypetrain

Aside from the issues and most of the problems we all know about the technical performance of the game (of which I had some but only two crashes to desktop in my 85 hours and not a single softlock during the whole game). First few hours were odd, I liked the game and could not stop, but the spike in difficulty on hard was a problem. The last 10 hours were dedicated to clean up all side activities and man, It got the point were all I did, before the final gig, was moving from point A to B, kill 5 o 4 guys and booked it, rinse and repeat. The story seems to be completely planned out for you and you pick how it ends, that´s how I summarized the whole deal. All play styles are viable, that being said, speech checks don't affect the story or outcomes of any quest. Stealth is useful for missions in the open world, but during boss fights, not so much. Melee, Guns (all of them) and Swords, they can be used to make a viable build. Gun play was acceptable, I bit stiff but on mouse and keyboard it felt fine. It helps to have a mouse with high DPI I always play FPS with 3200 DPI, so that made the experience a bit softer around the edges. Driving, physics are odd, bikes can be unstoppable tanks, turning is rough, GPS and MiniMap are the biggest flaw on this regard. The lack of customization was quite the let down, even on PS2 games you could change more stuff than on this game. RPG elements where there, but with an unknown level cap till you hit it, you have to plan your build before you spend those skill points and believe me unless you want to look like and idiot, you will need to invest on Crafting, so you can upgrade or craft your gear and that will cost you 18 points of the technical skill tree, to craft proper gear. To close this up, I care to admit the game was and is fun. I'll say this, there is no perfect game (and again, I’m leaving all the performance/bugs stuff out of this) Cyberpunk did under deliver, but that does not mean the game was bad or not good.

Still crashing after 1.05

When I first started playing it was working enough to get past the intro missions, post patch 1.04-1.05 and I can't even progress to a menu without the same crash error happening..... I chose not refund, but seriously this is annoying wasting time and money on a game not likely to be PLAYABLE now until January as you pushed the game release so late in the year...... Specs AMD 3700X Nvidia RTX 2080 Super 64gb ram

A Must Play for any RPG Fan

Pros: - realistically crafted characters and story easy to care about; - variety of character builds allowing to approach quests/tasks in a number of ways; - beautiful graphics, audio design, music and songs; - unparalleled atmosphere of Night City, nothing even close exists in any other game; - gameplay is fun and easily draws you in. Cons: - visual glitches at the moment of writing this review; - lack of certain customisation, e.g., your apartment, vehicles, etc; - the game is too lifelike, I couldn’t remember a single word from a conversation I had with a certain female character because I stared at her butt all the time. Personal Notes: This game is truly amazing. Yes, it is crippled by a score of glitches, but if the hysteria dies down, the devs will iron out the bugs and we will have a masterpiece on our hands. Having said that, if you want to blast the game for no particular reason, but your bad mood, please do. This won’t detract an ounce from enjoyment for everyone else.

Terrible bugs

I was enjoying the game until I discover the NCP Wakako was bugged. Despite of hot fix 1.05 I was not able to complete the side quest “The Gig” neither the following main quests. The side quests with Regina are also bugged. The civilian NPC do not have AI, they don’t respond accordingly to the situations. The game can be improved a lot so I'm going to wait for next patchs.

Needs BIG improvements but they'll come!

Expectations have always been the enemy. Big part of me wishes they hadn't hyped the game this much... My biggest criticism is that CDPR tried to release on old-gen consoles in the first place! This game is meant to be played for the next 10-20 years. All you did is drag the game down by trying to "back-date" it. I apologize but old-gen console owners were NOT meant to play this game. In addition to what mainstream reviewers already had to say, I will only add a few more things. If this game wants to be a truly customizable experience - which you would expect from an RPG - here are some things I personally expect it to deliver in the future via DLCs etc: 1) A LOT more customization for vehicles/weapons/gear/AND housing! Basically everything you can own in the game. Also, INCREASE the number of things we can own by a very large margin! 2) Speaking of housing, how about incorporating a 'base-building' system where, as a Nomad, we can build a place of our own? A lot of people dismiss or dislike this concept, but this is what brings me back to Fallout 4 time after time despite its many other flaws! I can actually build my own world in that game, even if it's a tiny part of the existing universe that devs built! And guess what? I'm going back to it now for the next year, while I wait for CP2077 to get fixed. 3) Also, there is something about the game in its current state that does not satisfy a hoarder like me... Playing the game felt wasteful to me in terms of in-game resources. I don't know if this will make sense to most people here. Just my style... Can't think of anything else right this moment, but we are here to support you CDPR! I know this game can top the Witcher 3! Please make sure it does. There is so much potential!
