Great So Far.. But

I and many others were super hyped to play this game, throughout the many delays and incredible trailers that got us all so excited. But the results, well... Not what we expected. Ill start with the good: - Great Atmosphere - Immersive Characters and World - A storyline (mostly) unlike anything else. - Great and original game concept Average: - Plently of customisation that affect the gameplay, but the affects feel minimal - Gun play is clunky but can still be enjoyable - The hacking is good and bad. Can be useful at times but still feels unnecessary. Bad: - I don't think i've ever played a game with this many bugs. I mean every. single. mission. there is a new, immersion breaking bug. it almost feels like they didnt play the game at all before releasing it. I feel like I'm playing an early access game, just praying they fix it quicker than bohemia "fixed" DayZ - Terrible optimisation, and yea my computer isn't built by NASA, but it can sure as hell handle plenty other top of line games out there. This game, no matter whether on Ultra or Low, still feels super choppy. - The driving mechanics are Ubisoft standard, feels like a console port. It bugs me even more considering how they went as far as an entire showcase trailer of the vehicles. Even the AI ingame and cutscenes drive like a 5 year old playing with his Hot Wheels. - The funnest I've had in this game was playing as Johnny Silverhand through the questline. His character is actually enjoyable and feels like a real "Cyberpunk" with his abilities, I felt like I could immerse myself in his character. Currently, V just feels like a stronger human shooting futuristic weapons with a USB port in his arm. As good as this game has been at times so far, it really doesn't have that WOW factor that the trailers and marketing hyped it up to be. I do hope that CDPR listens to their community and sorts this stuff out. I have high hopes that I will get better but am prepared for dissapointment given its current state.

Not Good

I have no bugs or any frame issue but the city feels so empty even in crowded areas. Sound design is good in a fight but if your not in one its just dim background noise. I dont hear cars or any conversaiton. Isn't worth the hype

Good, but needs more polish time

To be honest, I love the game. That being said, it definitely needed more time to work out all of the kinks and bugs. There are, and I cannot overstate this enough, tons of bugs. I've witnessed cars sinking into the ground, guns being literally stuck in the bodies of npc's, and phones floating off the ground as if they were Criss Angel at a bar mitzvah. However, if you can get past all of the games' glitches, you have a charming story that can tug at the heartstrings, and memorable characters whose stories only grow after each mission with them. I'm hoping that with time, the amount of bugs will be shaven down tremendously, and it will be further optimized so people with less powerful console can play smoothly, and I can't wait to see what kind've dlc and expansions CDPR will add in the future. You have to see the bigger picture.

Sure the game is buggy and should have been released next year, but with a project so long and complex where you have deadlines you have to expect a rocky launch. Leaving that aside the game looks mesmerizing and they surely nailed the cyberpunk vibe. I am stopping constantly and taking pictures of the environment because it looks so damn gorgeous. Storywise is what you would expect from CDPR, top notch. If you have technical issues with the game I advise that you wait a while for patches before posting a bad review. It was worth the wait!

A beta version of a true masterpiece.

Below all the bugs and glitches you will find a true marvel of game. Something that will be remembered fondly by roleplaying fans for many years to come in the same vein as Vampire Bloodlines or Deus Ex. Unlike other modern first person RPG games like the fallout series, all the good parts are there, the developers just need to iron out the bugs.
