It's decent
This is the only game that I've been playing really. Been enjoying it on and off. The driving mechanics and controls are awful. Hope the devs fix that at some point. They should implement real estate investments or some actual in-game stock market. The crafting is okay. But I miss minecraft crafting, they should expand the map and have a crafting-sphere to the game like minecraft. But I don't want to play minecraft so don't tell me to go play minecraft. I'm just saying this game should get that crafting-sphere like that. Maybe make the game online, 30 users per server or something. Customizable to a private world so you can invite 4 of your buddies. Add fractions/clans and be able to have clan wars in rewards resulting in massive amounts of eddies, legendaries, iconics, pad customs, components, and more. Add in more vehicles especially ones that can fly and be able to purchase and customize your own helicopter. Oh, and the devs should put in cyberoptic tanks. Then add in cyberware hands that contain abilities of fire, ice, magic stuff. Lastly they really need to put in a collectibles system in this game that isn't tied to a mission. Just collectibles out in the world sitting there waiting to be picked up.

Edgerunners brought me back
After watching Cyberpunk Edgerunners I wanted to immerse myself in this world completely and began playing Cyberpunk 2077 again after not playing it since launch. The game runs amazing now and the graphics look better than ever. If you see this game on sale, buy it!!! It is worth the price.

A truly great game
Upon release, this game bug ridden mess that I wouldn't have recommended to anyone outside of an alpha test. But here's the kicker - it's not on the dev team, they said it wasn't ready. Corpo Execs decided and forced the release of this hot mess. I still played over 30 hours; enough times to get all but the secret ending, it was proof nothing was game breaking. That's when I stopped playing. I had no reason to return assuming with the lawsuits, complaints, and more, they'd give up on the game and moved on. They didn't. Revisiting the game after finding the anime show Cyberpunk 2077: Edgerunners had brought me one pleasant surprise! The game, while still containing some bugs, was in a state that it should have been in upon the initial release. Gameplay is what I expect from any RPG. The majority are go here for this person, do this, get this reward, wash, rinse, repeat. However, the dialog choices were confusing at first. I've noticed yellow text was being assumed to be the only "real" part of the dialog, however, characters react differently if you choose the blue options, especially if you use the replay with the logos next to it; Especially with Johnny! The game is fantastic - once you realize most of the missions aren't timed, so you can explore and do way more than the implied "on the rails" game it kind of presents itself. I'm really having fun with it now to the point I can't wait to get back to playing it again. The sad thing is, some characters die - they stay in your phone to forever remind you they're gone. Kind of like those who have since dismissed this game and see it forever in their libraries. My recomendation: Download and play again, give the game the second chance those characters didn't get.

A good game with great story
There are still some bugs in the game, some more annoying than others, but apart from that it is a very good game. The visuals are good, the soundtrack is good, the gameplay is good but what I really liked is the story. At first I thought the main plot was stupid and found that whole thing with Johnny annoying and intrusive, but as missions went by I kind of got sympathetic towards Johnny despite being full aware that he is a narcissistic, overexaggerating, manipulative scumbag. Most of the side characters are interesting and each of them felt in place in the context of the Cyberpunk setting. One thing that has been taken straight out from Witcher 3 is that when you encounter some of the minor events which are spread throughout the city like "assault in progress" it has a backstory, explaining why this whole thing is happening. It is not just some random guys shooting at each other there is a reason behind it which is being revealed in the form of messages or emails found on decks lying around. It is a little thing but gives the world credibility. About the not so great things. There are quite a few bugs. The most annoying ones are when something that is needed for a quest is not showing up. There was a bartender that I had to talk to but he was missing. I saved the game, reloaded it and he was there. The AI of the people walking on the streets is weird, they get startled very easily. One time I loaded a game when I was parked in the car on a sidewalk and people spawned in the hood of the car. Walking animations sometimes don’t play so you can see people gliding. Textures on people sometimes are slow to load so they look like characters from Grim Fandango. All the bugs however did not spoil my experience. Cyberpunk 2077 is a good game, which tells an engaging story with characters you start to care about as you learn more about them.
