Deus Ex meets Watch Dogs but less

Objectively, Cyberpunk 2077 was a computer game, in that I could interact with the world and achieve goals set for me by the game. Subjectively Deus Ex had a better cyberpunk feel, and Watch Dogs gave me better driving and hacking, and I remember more of those series than anything from here. The only memorable parts were the cyberpsycho missions, and the tarot cards. And the end, I suppose, but that was because I felt it gave itself an ending the plot of the game did not lead up to, and it didn't deserve. The best part of CP2077 is the Edgerunners animated series on Netflix. I won't comment on the city layout / design, because I don't think there was any.

My new favourite game

Bought this 3 weeks ago. It's been a trip. Darkest story telling I've seen in a game. Wonderfully written. Amazing characters. Very open in how things get approached most of the time. Just annoyed I'm out of things to do, cause I love Night City and spending time there.

Meets and even exceeded my expectations

I've been playing CP2077 for two years and have played for almost 1400 hours. I've never had a problem with so many bugs reported by players. Some of them I had. Nothing I couldn't handle. The game has improved with each update. So the game had to be fixed. I'm waiting for the last update 1.7 and future DLC. The most important thing for me, however, is the rich storyline, interesting gameplay, many hours of fun. The characters are written as if they were real people. While the premiere did not go as planned by the creators or a large part of the players, today I can definitely recommend this game to everyone. For personally, this is one of my favorite games. I always feel at home in this game. Strange? Not for me :)

Top notch quest content

As of Nov 2022 (Patch 1.6) the game feels feature complete and stable. I played 90 hours through a full game, encountering only 1 quest bug and 1 bugged open world area. If you're looking for a first person RPG with excellent quest content and production values, the time is now (or whenever the expansion launches)

It has come a long way.

Bought it first and waited a bit, because I knew things were rushed a bit. Remember Witcher 3 took its time to become the legend it is now. Cyberpunk 2077 is now in a much better place, and is a joy to play. Yes you might encounter some bugs here and there but for my part they were rare and 99% non-breaking. Visually awesome, lots of weapons, skills to build your path, great story and side missions overall. then you add in some great mods to spice things up a notch, as usual with this kind of games (not mandatory at all to have a great time, mind you), and you get yourself a proper experience! I'd give it a 4.5, but put 5 to compensate some older ratings that in my opinion do not match the state of the title today. Note: I own the game on Steam, although probably should have bought it here on GoG from the start.
