300+ million and 8 years of development

What happened to CDPR 300+ million dollars and 8 years of development? I was a big fan of CDPR during witcher 3 ERA. I preordered Witcher 3. It seems CDPR fired all good programmers and hired marketing guys. Why the hell most anticipated game needs 200 million in promotion costs? You should have hired great programmers and made this game a masterpiece with that money. The game lacks even basic AI, RPG, and open-world elements. That came to the question do cyberpunk developers did ever played an open-world game. Oh my God!!! Even GOG 1.0 works like a charm compared to GOG 2.0. I don't know what to say. There is a saying good things won't last. But too soon is far beyond my imagination. Seems the game needs another 1 year to polish. By the time CDPR is gone. It would a miracle to save from this mess.

Half way there but not quiet yet...

Been playing this game since near launch day and ever since then the biggest issue for me is crash after crash after crash. I play this game on PC with a really good rig. My specs are Windows 10 64bit along with NVIDIA RTX 2080Ti (overclocked) 32 Gigs of RAM (clocked via bios settings) and a i7 processor. There are times where it won't let me progress through missions "The Hiest" being one of them and the result would be it would crash druing dialouge and/or interactive mission play. I have taken a picture and sent posted it on Twitter tagging everything CD ProjektRED in it to grab their attention (hopefully) and let them know that there is more issue's going on than what is being reported. I encountered the same issues just recently and it was during a side mission when you are at a ramen shop talking (or atleast in this case trying) to Elizabeth. Luckily I have a lot of patience so I keep trying until i am able to get passed it worse cas scenario is that I simply turn off my PC and wait the next day and sometimes that works. My other complaint is why are the vehicle driving physics so horrible? sure we can drive and all but even GTA V has better driving mechanics (if this game wants to rival GTA V) and that game was launched some years ago. I mean Claires "Beast" is supposed to be really good at off roading however I would find myself bouncing up and down as if the vehicle was a stray basketball bouncing around in a basketball court. Half the time bullets do not fully register even with "smart" firearms (kind of ironic that) and sometimes it would cost you your virtual life ending up with a load the last checkpoint prompt. Graphics are nothing like what is shown on the trailer's and previews of the game it is like the "burger effect" where we see a big fat juicy burger on the comercial from a fast food establishment and yet the end product is as thin as paper even WITH my NVIDIA RTX 2080Ti that is over clocked it still lacks luster.

Unfinished game

We have hoped for a Deus Ex/Open World with the Witcher story quality. I really want to like this game, but i cant play it for longer. - Bugs everywhere (Glitches, collision problems, cant pick up items, Quests and Calls get Stuck and so much more) - Loot System is garbage and bugged, found lvl 1 weapons with 5 DPS or 2 Armor from bosses and chests in lvl area 20 - 40 - AI of the enemys is like 10 years old(Sometimes dont even work if you move to fast) - The amount of Enemy types are so low - Balancing of Skill tree or weapons ??? - Cyberware is bad joke / Most of them just stats, not much active abilitys - Immersion is interrupted of the bugs everey minute Cant believe its from the same people as The Witcher series. Hope they will patch this to playable level, so i can remove this Review. Wish you the best in finding some fun in Cyberbug 2020.

You just got No Man's Sky'd

This game seems like a bad deja-vu, reminiscent of the 2013 (at release in 2016) PC game "No Man's Sky" (NMS) - in terms of expectations vs delivery (or rather, the lack of delivery): * riddled with bugs: check * boring, repetitive: check * lack of actual (interactive) content (RPG... where?): check * all this for a way too high price: check And my prediction, just wait for "the DLC trap", so they can squeeze even more money out of this hype. I rather play NMS, or even the first "Watch Dogs" game, the latter where people walking / standing / sitting / and even driving actually react to their environment (and most importantly, to the player character) - as old as that game is, it matches or even surpasses (with unofficial graphics patch) "Cyberpunk" on the graphics level even. So my final verdict: Maybe 1/10th of the price (~$6) is justified for this game, but even then personally I'd rather save that amount - or right now with all the holiday deals, spend it - on a game that actually is fun to play and not hyped (anymore) - ie. No Man's Sky (even has multiplayer), Avorion (also has multiplayer), Elite Dangerous (again, has multiplayer), or any number of actual RPG and highly rated games out there.

Looks nice, plays ok

Playing on a GTX 1070 @ 1440p with High/Ultra settings: Even with FidelityFX Upscaling from 1080p it does not run smooth everywhere, but when it does it's absolutely worth it. Crashes and graphic artifacts occure every now and then. Roaming Night City feels and looks very good as long as you don't go to close to NPCs and some low-res textures. Gameplay is okay, although sometimes it can be a buggy mess. If you didn't watch Trailers and Announcements and like Sci-Fi open worlds you won't be dissapointed. I somewhat doubt it will get much better.
