Meh
While the story and overall world seem to create a really awesome world to dive in and loose yourself constant bugs and UI (for example: if you have a 4 mod slot weapon you cant preview the stats because the window simply bugs out) rip you out of the illusion. This destroyed any deep dive and amusement in to the game for me. Very disappointing. Buy on sale and expect nothing.

Less than expected
The game is cool, the city pretty and the main story fun... But it is really not what we have hoped and expected... Many of the food item don't even have a model... Nothing to really do in the city not even buy a house or gradualy climb the ladder... No real difference between street kid, corpo or nomad... The main story eated all the rest ! the nypd action have no realy value put like this, the side quest could be more related to each other ( fort instance the quest at kabuki ) ! I Hope you will finish it and not going into multiplayer that's not feat and that no one wait...

Great story but unpolished and bugs!
As many others, I have mixed feelings about the game. Unfortunately, little has been kept to what was promised: The world is great, especially visually and audibly. You can get lost in the many side quests and they definitely contribute to immersion. The main story is also exciting except for the end, albeit short. BUT: The AI is cruel, especially the traffic. A person / car is constantly bugging somewhere. Cars just stand on the road, stop, etc. The vehicle controls are a cramp and the combat gameplay is almost as terrible and heavy. Hitboxes are inconsistent, moving over and behind cover feels very unintuitive. In general, the combat system is a mixture of weapon grind / special skills and bullet sponges. There is not a lot of cool armor or weapons and once you've found some, they're useless again after three missions. I have no idea why they chose a loot shooter ala Borderlands. So the game has a great world to immerse yourself in, unfortunately the immersion is repeatedly destroyed by bugs and immature gameplay.

It's good. It's not great.
The story was interesting and you can appreciate a lot of the detail in the world building. The black metal radio station was awesome and I wish it would let you turn it up higher than it does. However, the people expected an RPG. Let's not kid ourselves, we all wanted/expected this to be The Witcher 3 but in 2077. Instead, what we got was ... not that. I think this expectation was fair, because CD Projekt RED hasn't actually made much else, so this is all we really could expect from them. The game suffered a lot from an overinflated marketing campaign and hypetrain - probably the biggest I've ever seen. The marketing would have us believe that this game was going to elevate humanity into the 4th dimension. The problem, for me, starts and ends with the main character. I didn't find them compelling at all. In Witcher series, you embody a character so impressive that you almost wish it was you. I could write pages about the depth of that character, and how the conversation options and the dialogue that follows are almost always satisfying. Then, you play this game, and your character has the gung-ho juvenile personality of a character from a B-tier teen flick. You are playing as someone who is constantly cringe. It's not a good feeling. The conversation options are often not only incredibly scarce, but a lot of the time they don't feel like something you'd actually want to say/do. Whatever the game lacked in underdeveloped RPG systems, such as conversation and choice, was just a nail in the coffin. I liked the game. It was good. It wasn't half as good as it should have been.
