Why buy on GOG.COM?
DRM FREE. No activation or online connection required to play.
Lessons learnt:
1) Do not preorder any title from any company even if it is CDPR
2) Never use paypal for pre-order if released is unkown or more than 180 days
3) Gog's refund system, their policies and processes isn't better at all
4) Just support the cheapest game store and void any form of loyality
As to the game itself:
It sounds and looks pretty, but falls short in about everything from rpg, driving and/or shooting. Basically we were promised the all in wonder theme park and got the cutdown version of a tyre swing connected to a branch.
Give me my money back not your useless store credit!
Massive undelivered promise. The game feels like it was made for a console. Funnily enough the console version is garbage and got pulled down from ps store.
I had very few crashes, but a number of ridiculous bugs that left me locked in a quest area or trapped in a location I should've left.
Quests feel uninteresting most of the time and bring Skyrim radiant quests to mind. Go to X, steal/destroy/kill/find Y and get some lousy credits.
Most skills are useless and game relies on constant looting making it a *looter shooter*
Some people might like the story, I hate it. It's uninspiring, forced into traditional Greek tragedy (no matter what you do you will suffer). Some people defend it, for me it's a deal-breaker.
Weapons come in very few types and just hundreds of uninspired +X dmg versions.
Most areas are non accessible with real fake doors.
Long story short - if you like shooting, wait till it's about 15 euro because this is all this disappointment is worth.
ive sunk about 110 hours into this game now. completed 6 out of 7 alternate endings and completed most of the side quests, there are a few things i have to say about the game:
the story is realy enjoyable, and i found it very easy the first time around to get invested in the characters and their progression through the story as well as a suprising impact your choices make, the world they have created is detailed and multi layerd where ive become lost in the many allyways and streets overtime.
the gameplay is okay, and i say okay because it feels incomplete and those who may have seen the 2018 gameplay demo will know the same feeling when i say this because alot of the more next generation gameplay mechanics and playstyles they featured before are not present here.
the Ai in this game is below exeptable standards for a game that does world immersion so well, and at times they really take you out of it because theres just no sense to their programing.
the bugs however not as bad as the base console ports of course, are still a problem. missions failing to progress, enimies refusing to see you as a hostile, teleporting you randomly to areas, physics problems, dialog sound problems... the list realy does go on
TLDR: if you're like me and waited this long to play it yeah go for it, when it works its fun and immersive, but i'd wait a little longer if you want a finished game, because im sorry but this game isn't finished yet and i really, really look forward to when it is a complete experience.

I loved the witcher games (and the books when they first come out) so much so that I themed my wedding around witcher 3, so I was super excited for a cyberpunk game from the studio that gave us the witcher, after getting the game I have to say I'm disapointed, the game is barely playable, countless graphics and physics issues and a handful of engine/gamplay issues make me just about able to enjoy the story, I'm really sorry I pre-ordered it as it shouldn't have made it's money back. As a rule I don't preorder games anymore but I really thought the CD project would deliver, guess no such thing as a trustworthy companies anymore
biggest disappointment ever. except for featuring keanu reeves, this game has nothing, neither good story, worst control, poor world design, poor rpg, the game has no base at all. & not to mentions tons of bugs.
