Yes, she buggy Yes, she short After waiting 8 ish years I can say it's alright. This game reminds me of Fallout 4, good the first time but starts falling appart without mods. The setting seems a little wattered down, there needs to be more punk. yeh you get John Wick telling you to blow your head off, but after that it's lacking the punk. The game is fun and if you like fallout 4 you will probably like this game. The criticism that most people have is that it's empty and buggy while both are true I don't remember skyrim or fallout 4 getting shat on as much. Hopeing that in a year the game will be better. I might have broken the game to see how your choices impact the game... not as many choices as it would appear. An example is when you go to le rip doc it gibs you the option to pay him off before you get the implants, I payed it off and guess what? The game did not react, the same lines played as if you did not pay him. In all honesty this gemu needed more time. At this point I don't regret buying or playing it, then again I like fallout 4. Lot of cut shite in the code, all it needs is a lil reworking and flip a switch... just add the optical camo and make it work... stealth would actually be a posability. So, if you don't already have it wait...

It is not a bad game (it is fun) but I was left with a sense of disappointment in the end while watching the credit rool. There are a few points that are important from my point of view. Almost everyone mentioned the bugs so I will be brief about them. I have a powerfull PC so I had no working issues, some graphical bugs but that's about it. From my point of view the bugs will be fixed in a few months. Ignoring the bugs there are other problems: 1) It is not trully an RPG. If you expect The Witcher type of game...is not that, not even by far. All the endings are presented in a restaurant menu format, at a certain point in game you choose which one you want. Basicaly if you play more main side quests the number of options increases. The best definition of it from my point of view is a looter shooter FPS with some RPG elements. 2) The AI is very bad. This is my biggest issue with the game and unfortunatlly I think this will not be changed because it must be completely redone. The car NPC AI is the worst I ever seen (I can say that it doesn't even exist, the cars just follow a trajectory). The civilian AI is almost non-existent also (they just walk and if there is any kind of trouble they run or duck) and the combat AI is bad (no tactics or anything). Basically the combat difficulty is centered around two things: make the NPC's bullet sponges and increase their HP. 3) The life path choice is meaningless. It only influence the first 20 minutes of the game and some dialogue options (and the options have no impact). The transition from the life path start to game is done through a montage, no character building or anything. The life path topic is a total missed oportunity. It is so meaningless that I think it could have been removed completlly from the game. 4) The main and side stories are very good and it's what keep the game fun. The looter shooter mechanics are there for the multiplayer DLC that will come. The multiplayer also killed the RPG.

I thought CD Projekt Red was one of the good ones. I preordered way back in Feb because I trusted them that much. Unfortunately, CD Projekt Red has shown themselves to be no different than any other modern Games Publisher and will lie and hide in order to get your money. Aside from that, the game is majorly disappointing. It hardly qualifies as an open-world game and is so painfully linear that I can't find a single reason to do anything other than the next story mission. Also, there are strange omissions within the game that hint at the product being genuinely unfinished. You can't change your hairstyle in-game? you can't get cybernetic bodily implants? AI cars are on rails and have no mind or ability to navigate the environment on their own? Maybe they will finish it eventually, but they will never get my respect again. I will also stop supporting GOG from here on out.

This game does so many things right. But the numerous graphical and technical glitches make it unbreable to play in some cases. Not just glitches, but also the controls are horrendoues. As many reviewers have stated, there are inconsistencies with combat controls, mapping out keyboard layouts as well as cars feel super floaty. CDPR should not have released the game in this state when they were saying the game would be Gold and ready to play day one. A huge shame.

The graphics are amazing if you don't move, and nothing else moves on screen. However, the story, and the way you interact with it is truly a mess. Disregarding all bugs (CDPR will eventually fix all of these). The story is by far, one of the worst things written in 20 years. After 50 hours and on act 2 I give up. All endings are dreadful and pointlessly dark. First they present your character, and then your partner. Which you are supposed to bond over in a short time lapse "montage", instead of actual gameplay (why would anyone approve of this?). Next you become somebody completely different, removing all interest you have vested in the player. From here on nothing is interesting, and the "fun" in game comes from -not- doing the main quests. Johnny Silver hand parts are VERY out of place. It almost like they came up with the character after the game was finished, and just injected him here and there. Every time there is a chance to get involved in the story, this guy just shows up and ruins it. The inventory is a chore, and the UI inefficient. Driving is so bad, I basically just walked everywhere. The effects that some pore people are getting seizures from, are truly annoying, and they come often! The romance-missions are so delicate, easy to miss. Had to reaload hours and hours of gameplay, and still fail. A single missed entry will cost you the romance. When a conversation prompt shows on screen, there is a timer for added effect (dyslexia?). Also the player doesn't say what is written on-screen. When you choose a line, the audio and story is completely different. This removes you completely from the player. What I enjoyed: Sidemissions that varied from each other, however, most where "fetch this", or "kill these". The City is beautifully designed! The various non main story line characters are interesting, and nicely done. The possible romancing options are fun. The cars look good and sound great. The number of weapons and clothes are equally good!
