Cyberpunk 2077

Pros - I can't find any. Cons: - The "music" consists of noise and screeches, or just plain trash passing as music. - Bugs galore. I've played EA's with less bugs. - Glitches that get you stuck inside walls - "Options" that sum up to "yes, yes, yes, yes" (I've seen this one somewhere else... something to do with fallout or something). - No way to abandon quests forced down your throat. - Graphics are all over the place, like Johnny. Great one moment, puking themselves the next. - Sound is horrible (no, downgrading my sound rig is NOT an option. Fix it). - It's Saints Row V, with better graphics (if you call TAA "good") and a character that we might as well just make male and look like Johnny. - I wanted to play CP2077, not CP2020. Considering to refund this mess. Keep this game to PnP, where it belongs.

I've played for some 30 hours now but can not be bothered to continue, the main story is not that compelling and I do not find V interesting, I don't care how the story ends anymore. None of the choices you make are actually meaningfull and only a few of the characters are memorable. During so many occasions I wanted to do something very different to what the game forces you to do, the decisions V takes make no sense to me and I just don't understand his motivations. The best part of this game is the amazing realization of the city's visuals and sounds, however after a few hours you realize it is essentially empty, only filled with generic kill/gather quests that get boring quick. This game could become good after another 1-2 years of development and adding all the features that were promised. I will end with some miscellaneous problems that are not deal-breakers by themselves but put together make for a painful experience: 1. The control scheme on PC is clearly meant for a controller. 2. About 8 CTDs and one BSOD in 30 hours. 3. Terrible A.I., especially out in the world. 4. Cars drive unrealistic. 5. Gun-play is mediocre. 6. Large amounts of in-game bugs like getting stuck in scanner-mode, being detected by enemies on different floors, .... 7. You character's backstory does not matter. 8. Even on a high-end PC with an RTX card the graphics glitches are numerous and noticeable.

The game has a beautiful cyberpunk designed world and even a good storytelling, but you will not find anything else to make you feel attached to it. Extremely glitchy, lacking basic features (as an AI for the NPCs or even a way to customise your character after you create it) and just not optimised if you don't have the latest rig, which goes all against what this game promised for a long time. Wait for a sale after they release a lot of DLCs to make the game at least get close to what it was marketed as before the release.

Patch 1.04 managed to make the game both look and perform worse. Insane amount of bugs. Really disappointed in the quality as a fan since the witcher 2.

I had low expectations since I didn't keep up with the marketing hype, but I'm still jealous of PS4 players because they can get a refund. My first moment controlling my character was met with a graphical bug. Terrible first impression. The police system is not excusable in 2020. It practically breaks the game for a gameplay system that other companies figured out in the early 2000s. Key bindings are frustrating to use, with some odd choices that contort your fingers. Multiple default graphics options make the game look worse than it would with them off, even though they likely decrease performance. Glitchy, clone NPCs with dumb behaviors that take you out of the world they're trying to build. Excessively busy UI. Isn't the "futuristic" trend to be slim and sleek? This game needs another full year in the oven. See you in holidays 2021, Cyberpunk.
