Cyberpunk 2077

Currently the game cannot start; every time i launch the game, i received the message “Cyberpunk 2077 has flatlinead” and the game crashes. I update the video card drivers, i rebooted the pc, currently i’m verifying the game cache and downloading 42 gigabytes, but is very disappointed that a game is released in such state. Bad work, i absolutely regret of wasted 60 bucks for a game in such state. Update: After several patches, the game is truly enjoyable, thanks to an impressive setting and a varied and fun combat system. What didn't convince me was that the vehicles are quite useless, despite their abundance and variety; you could basically finish the game with Donald Duck's car you have at the start without any problems. The story is beautiful and engaging, although there are too many cutscenes where you just talk without doing much (though fortunately, there's a skip button). What I didn't like was how the game handles netrunning. Unlike the original or titles like Shadowrun or System Shock, the net is not a world unto itself, but one of the game's many menus to interact with (basically, the netrunner is a typical wizard in fantasy games). I recommend it, but certain aspects of the game might not appeal to everyone.

AI sucks Driving Sucks Collisions Sucks Scripted Scenes Sucks Combat Sucks Borderlands ish Weapon Stats Sucks Frivolous Dialogue "Trees" Sucks Differences in Control Options of Mouse & Keyboard vs Controller Sucks Hoping that they try to "fix" stuff Sucks Menus Not Opening Sucks Subtitles Showing after Loading During Conversation Even Though Subtitle Option's Off Sucks Equipment Not Showing Until After Reloading Sucks Mixing percentile boosts with scaler boots Sucks Obvious Railroad Sucks Visuals Nice Story Nice Frivolous Character Customization Nice I'm just going to go play The Witcher Series again unless they make some major updates to the Gameplay.

9 Hrs after playing , i wish it was delayed again :( !

Despite the delays and promises made for a "polished" product, the end result is far from it. The game itself is marred by a sub par AI and below average driving, hacking and stealth mechanics. This is more like a Alpha version of the game which needs a lot of work to actually make it immersive. Then we talk about the optimzation and graphics which are also disappointing considering my PC meets and exceeds the recommended configuration i only get 30FPS on High settings with Raytracing off. It saddens me that CDPR used their goodwill to drive people into beliveing them and deliberately shipping a unfinished and below average "RPG".

I was expecting this to be an open world RPG, with a living breathing city, full of NPC's that lived their life, went about their day, had agency and motivations, with a crime system that adapted to the player and an intimidating always lurking police force. Megacorporations pulling invisible strings and a pulsing underworld full of runners and revolutionaries. That is not what this game is. Perhaps I was wrong to expect these things, but this was how it was advertised and the non-advertised aspects are due to it's license to the legendary pen & paper RPG cyberpunk. This game is an FPS, with a skilltree and branching storylines. A sort of cross between GTA and Dishonored, but lacking GTA's AI, which is atleast able to drive a car and not spawn law enforcements officers right behind your back. And it lacks Dishonored's focus, polish and tightly designed levels. Yes, Cyberpunk 2077 is riddled with glitches, bugs and crashes, but that is just scratching the surface of the problems with the game. The fact that NPC glitch in and out of a path, walk through each other and get stuck in objects wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't for the fact that it is ALL they do. You can't talk to them or interact with them in any meaningful way. The fact that shops and buildings are divided into a small number of categories (fast food, clothes, bars mainly) wouldn't be a problem if not for the fact that you can't do anything at those locations (outside of a quest), and the fact that the levelingsystem and skilltree are given very little context within the game until a pretty long way in wouldn't be so bad if your choices when leveling up had any meaningful impact outside of combat and hacking. Conversation choices that are unlocked because of your intelligence or cool rarely have an impact on the outcome of a conversation. I have no doubt that what was released is not what was in CDPR's designdocument 5 years ago, but what is here now is a pretty lackluster experience.
