Y'all Didn't Need to Crunch for this...

CDPR promised us the moon and back, but delivered solely on graphics (when they aren't bugged) and story. The most egregious lie of Red's was the sudden shift from RPG to FPS GTA. Choices mean little, and only result in surface level changes. Even as a GTA style open world it fails, as the NPCs barely react to your presence. Drivers don't care about their cars being shot, people running from gunfire will just stop in place and cower. Sometimes they won't even do that, instead opting to passively watch their friends be blown to pieces right next to them. Actions have no consequence in the open world. The police, the pillars of what are supposed to be keeping the player in check, aren't even programmed to follow you if you enter a car. Every crime, outside of the story, goes completely unpunished due to cops never caring. Even crimes against cops that warrant the most heat will be immediately forgotten if you run a block or two away. The only positives I can give this game are that the art design and level layouts are jawdropping. The story is also pretty good, with the side missions being a standout. The most dissappointing part for me is the lying on Red's part. There have been some shady things CDPR has done in the past, but the fact that they were willing to hype this game up mercilessly, and release it in this state, really lifted the veil from my eyes. If CDPR had been upfront initially about this being a GTA style game, maybe this would have been more palatable. As it stands it's like I'm watching Anikan strangle a bunch of little kids, and it kind of sucks. Crunch is almost always a sign of mismanagement, but the released game is exhibit A.

Disappointment

For 7 years of work, overhype, dealying releases - game is only on below average quality. Also story is not immersive, looks like some random pieces glued together. Open world - i think morrowind have a better open world. NPCs ? Yes - there is many of them, but any interaction with them - only just random generic texts - this is all. Do you attac any civilians ? The will be scared and do nothing - even if you atack one by the hand :| - any reaction. Also random spawnig police - this one is hilarious. And there is more to tell.. I think this is the biggest dissapoiment in gaming industry, bigger even than andromeda.

Cybermeh 2077

Cyberpunk 2077 might have been one of the most hyped games in existance. Many people hope that this game will be a revolutionary RPG experience, but booting it up for the first time and actually playing it shows a somewhat different story. The game is incredibly flawed, not just for it's overabundance of bugs, but also for various game design issues. Releasing a game in this bugged state is absolutely unacceptable for a game which had 7+ years of development behind it. Considering the many delays and that CDPR claimed to make the game "as immersive as possible" the state the game is in right now is absolutely baffling. Please do not support this kind of behaviour. I played for over 20 hours so far and I have a lot to say. I will start with the positive aspects first. The game features an amazing soundtrack and the main storyline and side quests are gripping with fantastic writing, good atmosphere and interesting setpieces. That is pretty much it. Now come my issues with the game. The problem here is that almost every single aspect of this game surrounding the amazing music, writing and story is either mediocre or lacking. Combat is mostly comprised of run of the mill shooting, somewhat unresponsive and overpowered Melee combat and a super forgiving stealth system, even on harder difficulty settings. Combat got incredibly annoying to the point where I just turned the difficulty all the way down to easy so I could focus on the dialogue and characters the game has on offer. Freeroaming in this "immersive" RPG is horrible. There isn't anything interesting to see in Night City and the driving doesn't help here. Don't expect car chases either since the game has no driving AI. Something GTA 3 did right many years ago, is not present in this game. There is more to say, but I cannot express it here with the character limit. Only buy this game if you are REALLY interested in the story, everything else is not really noteworthy. This is not a revolutionary game. 2/5

Definitely needs a lot of more work

Pros: -DLSS is a lifesaver for this game if you have an Nvidia Series 20 card or higher. -Looks beautiful if you're able to sacrifice some frames -Does feel a lot like "Blade Runner" in a loose way -It does have some RPG-like elements but this is more like RPG-lite Cons: -Bugs -Bugs, Glitches -Bugs, Glitches, Crashes -the notorious "t-stance" bug pops up a lot for NPCs -clipping issue (ex: I've had my car fall through the map for eternity resulting in Alt+F4) If I treat this game as if I did with a Bethesda game (ex: a Fallout game), the game is actually a treat. The bugs are actually like "comedic content" for me. I get a good laugh out of them. Now we know why this game was delayed multiple times. With about 2-3 patches already dished out by the devs in less than a week, it just goes to show that this game has a long long way to go before being polished.

Just another open-world game

Like any other open-world game. The presentation and the graphic is great but thats it. The map is full of icns like any other open-world game. Tedious processig of the many similar side quests. The main quests are just handholding call of duty gameplay. Not the Deus Ex/Immersive Sim Messiah i hoped for.
