Enjoyable, but...

- World creation is good. - Story NPCs felt real and relatable. - Voice acting is good. - Jobs are generally of two types, fetch / kill. - Way too little chase / driving missions, although it is perhaps for the best, since driving controls are lackluster. - All fist fights are easy with the best "chrome" so don't bother with technique. - With the latest update, most of the serious bugs seem fixed, but I still couldn't complete "Trevor's last ride", since Trevor is nowhere to be found. - NPC still sometimes sprawn in unexpected locations. Inside the den of a house full of criminals, seeping a cup of coffee, for example. - Call vehicle function can be hilarious, once my called vehicle first slowed down on approach, then drove right past me before I reach it, and as I attempt to run after it so that it will detect my proximity to stop, it just keep going and sped away into the sunset. If the NPCs had a mind, this episode would be quite entertaining to behold. - No matter which build you have decided on, there is really only one way to complete the story missions. For the side missions, however, you have more choice / paths on how to go about it. - Gun mechanics is ok. - I felt no need to use melee weapons, and don't see the advantage. - Enemy tend to dug in where they stand, so aim and wait for the heads to pop up. - Probably the best combination of weapon is assult rifle + long range rifles. - Hardly had the need to craft anything and eventually gave up on that skill tree. Tech skills is only good for weapon perks, and Tech level is only useful for access checks. Spent more than 100 hours with this game, completed all the quests except the one listed above. I did kind of enjoy it, but the experience is kind of empty and not very memorable.

Truly Disappointment

Overall, I am truly disappointed in Cyberpunk 2077. I was so hyped and excited to play this. However, I faced with too many issues as follows: 1. Performance optimization: It is extremely poor. Though I can ran the game on my computer but the framerate dropped to the rate that make me feel dizzy to continue playing. 2. Visual glitches: This popped up very often. Sometimes trees-from-nowhere came out through objects, even in Night city. 3. Gameplay is very poor. Personally, I love to play games First Person Shooter a lot, but Cyberpunk 2077 is another story. The movement is extremely weird in combat and gunplay is quite terrible. Also, the economics in game is too punishing. Some guns, clothes and objects are extremely expensive, too expensive that should be reconsider again. 4. User interface and User experience: I have a lot of problems try to grab objects that dropped on the floor, but I sometimes have to walk and press twice or trice to pick it up. Also, buttons controlling in this game still required reworks. Some can be confusing to players. 5. Bugs: I face with many problems of bugs. Some are minor bugs that can be forgiving, such as NPC walk through obstacle, civilians scream and run away even though I did nothing and there are no fighting around. And some are unplayable, I stuck with the main mission once I choose the optional mission first, I cannot proceed the main mission. This game is unstable and should not be play for now. Wait until in on sale or until improvement patches coming up. --Ranting part-- As I that now suffer with my life a lot lately, I was so hope that Cyberpunk 2077 could be a quick escape for me from the outside world, just a short while will do. But CD PROJEKT RED just make things gone worst. All my planned that I was hope before were completely screwed. I hope you do something to fix this in very soon. Cheers.

Really missed the mark for me

I am not going to rate anything based on the game crashing, PC players need to understand PCs are not consoles and there is no standard PC they are all different. The crashing will get fixed. I am going to rate the game on it's own merits. 1. Why oh why did they go with 1st person only when on foot, one of the best things about Witcher 3 was the 3rd person view. You see so much more of your surroundings and can really appreciate your character in 3rd person. Who cares what you even look like, you hardly see yourself. May as well just made all armor papers bags. Bad call, big time. 2. The loot system is just silly, am I meant to run around and pick up trash 90% of the time I am on foot. Just silly. 3. Inventory system is a mess. I can't imagine being a game dev and looking at that system and saying, yeah this makes sense. You guys literally made one of the best games in history with Witcher 3, why not go with what works? 4. Man the downtime between after that prelude is brutal, It was like being forced to watch a movie that I didn't want to see. I am not saying the story is bad, its really good, it was just presented in a really terrible way. 5. The combat is meh, I mean, again, you guys made Witcher 3 . Why did you go backwards? I am not asking for a close of Witcher 3 but the general idea is the systems get better, not worse. Nice effort but man you guys missed the mark on game mechanics.

Unfinished game with empty world

CDPR decided to release unfinished game with ton of bugs. The story is good so far (6 hours in), but everything else is just hacked together and the world feels empty (no AI for NPCs or cars, cops spawn out of thin air).

Complete garbage

This game is just not good enough on the technical aspects (AI, optimization, etc). Or, if I am to be extremely generous, it is not finished yet. I am waiting for the patches, hoping that CDPR fixes up the game. It would be laughable if they came out with a GOTY edition next year. This game is NOT GOTY quality. I have literally bought (and played) every game that CDPR has released till now (including Thronebreaker), and I had also pre-ordered this one. Completely let down. I play a lot of RPGs (almost exclusively so) and had decied to buy my RPGs from GOG moving forward (already bought all the CDPR games as well as Disco Elysium on this store). However, I won't be giving CDPR a single dollar from my wallet anymore. They do not deserve it until they address the immense bait and switch they did with the entire marketing hype with this game. I feel cheated and sad. I probably won't ask for a refund because unlike CDPR, I do not want to renege on my word.
