Enjoyable, but...
- World creation is good. - Story NPCs felt real and relatable. - Voice acting is good. - Jobs are generally of two types, fetch / kill. - Way too little chase / driving missions, although it is perhaps for the best, since driving controls are lackluster. - All fist fights are easy with the best "chrome" so don't bother with technique. - With the latest update, most of the serious bugs seem fixed, but I still couldn't complete "Trevor's last ride", since Trevor is nowhere to be found. - NPC still sometimes sprawn in unexpected locations. Inside the den of a house full of criminals, seeping a cup of coffee, for example. - Call vehicle function can be hilarious, once my called vehicle first slowed down on approach, then drove right past me before I reach it, and as I attempt to run after it so that it will detect my proximity to stop, it just keep going and sped away into the sunset. If the NPCs had a mind, this episode would be quite entertaining to behold. - No matter which build you have decided on, there is really only one way to complete the story missions. For the side missions, however, you have more choice / paths on how to go about it. - Gun mechanics is ok. - I felt no need to use melee weapons, and don't see the advantage. - Enemy tend to dug in where they stand, so aim and wait for the heads to pop up. - Probably the best combination of weapon is assult rifle + long range rifles. - Hardly had the need to craft anything and eventually gave up on that skill tree. Tech skills is only good for weapon perks, and Tech level is only useful for access checks. Spent more than 100 hours with this game, completed all the quests except the one listed above. I did kind of enjoy it, but the experience is kind of empty and not very memorable.
