Unbelievably bad game, very disappointed
I'm sure by now most people have read the reviews and saw the youtube videos displaying the countless bugs and bad designs this game. I'm just gonna list a few things I found/experienced that shouldn't be in a game of this caliber in 2020. > Mouse/KB control mappings. Can't rebind the F key, can't rebind mwheel up or down. Hardcoded keys in 2020? like really? I shouldn't have to edit a config file to remap my keys > Quick save but no quick load key. lol > Intro can't be skipped on GOG version > Terrible explanation of the hacking mini game, had to look up a tutorial > Can not make changes to your character's appearance after initial creation. REALLY? Saints Row 2 from like 10 years ago had this? > Character creation is so amazingly BAD. You can't even use mouse to drag-to-rotate, or zoom in/out with mouse wheel. Like seriously, even Skyrim from 2011 had better char customization. With mods it's actually incredible the amount of details you can change on your char, and those are mods made by fans in their free time for free... > Can't customize cars. Yes I know it was announced like 1 year ago but still a huge disappointment. > When in menu, holding the E key will randomly make mouse cursor jump up, for absolutely no reason. Probably related to config editing remapping keys. > AI is non existent, much worse than GTA5, in fact, much worse than even Saints Row 2's from 10 years ago. Go read the reddit threads and watch the Youtube videos on this, hilariously bad. > Amazingly bad spawn system. You can quickly move your mouse and watch the car behind you change to a different car each time you look at it. LOL > Physics collision system is completely borked. Constantly see small things like trash bags etc. randomly flying around because someone walked into it. During TUTORIAL, Jackie runs into a locker and the stuff inside burst out at the speed of light and hit me in the face. This game tries to be Deus Ex, gta, watch_dogs, all in one but is bad at everything.
