I’ve been waiting on this game probably for the past 3-4 years. I’m a little disappointed that I had to play through the PS4 version on my next gen console but I love it! There are some minor bug issues and control schematics I believe should be tightened up but overall the game plays very beautifully and I enjoy the extreme amounts of tasks to do. The city was really put together wonderfully. The skill set tree really lets you play how you want. I wish car customization was included or can be included in the future on DLC updates but overall I am pleased. I was afraid to be excited because the last game I was this hype over ended up an utter disappointment (cough cough Anthem). Well done CDPR!
I played this game knowing that my hype level was way too high. Fortunately, this game has met my expectations on many points. When this game is running on it's best, it is simply fantastic. With that being said, this game is loaded with bugs that will pull you away from the immersion.
These bugs are forgivable since they are usually cosmetic or minor pathing issues. I run this game using a GTX 2070 super graphics card and it looks great. I can run this game with high settings and still get 60 FPS.
All in all, I am very pleased with this game on PC. Definitely a must buy for me and I know that it will only get better with time.
My wife and I were so excited to play this game that we bought another computer so we could play together. I went Nomad, she went Corpo and it's been an amazing ride watching each other be presented with the same problem and going about it differently. Thank you CDPR for giving my wife and I another fun experience to share.
I ran into alot of bugs but nothing game crashing, just silly bugs that i'm certain that will be fixed in the upcoming patches. As for the story i did everything i could do in one playthrough, every quest, side quest, jobs, etc and damn its very good, the characters really grown on you, Johnny Silverhand relationship with V is awesome, it keep growing through the story, that in the end you will really care about his fate. One thing that i was kinda disappointed is the lack of romance options, i played as male V and there is one option for straight and another for gay, there should be at least two options for both sexual orientation, as much i loved Panam ( i ran away with her in my ending :) ) it would be cool to have more romance options avaible for a seriously relationship with V, in my opinion it adds replayability to the game.
If you like games like Mass Effect, The Witcher and other RPGS i would recommend you to get it, if bugs don't bother you so much get it now no fear, the story and the characters are really good and makes up for the bugs, but if bugs ruin your experience i would recommend you to get after a few months for now, after the patches. My final thoughts is that cyberpunk 2077 didn't live up for all the hype, it is a very good game, but nothing extraordinary, after the amazing job that CDPR did with The Witcher 3, i thought that Cyberpunk would surpass it in, but it didn't, The Witcher 3 is better in every way, but still is a very good gaming experience and it will get better after they release the patches.
p.s: i'm hoping CDPR will make singleplayer expansions like they did with The Witcher (Heart of Stone and Blood and Wine), if they release a multiplayer and just release expansions for it like Rockstar did with GTA 5 i will be very disappointed.
So, after about 94 hours into the game, I finally finished it with everything the game can offer.
I used my intelligent to finish the game with my own thoughts and understanding listening to dialogues and Never skipped any, and the storyline is well written topical CDPR writing.
But I don't think my life path is that impactful to the whole game, I mean Yes there is some unique dialogues here and there but not as much as I want it to be, the ending is what I want it and I kind of what I expected or let's say what I felt right.
My PC is very hardcore gamers, and this gives me a perfect looking world, also topical CDPR, the Bugs & Glitches are here and there but expected from a game that big, I mean even if you would say give the devs more time they can not fix everything so give the devs slack, please.
I know the game is really bad for consoles but we're here to that's mean we all PC gamers.
Why I give the game 4/5? well, because I wish [for me at least] V will not counting the days, I wish I could live with my beloved Panam happy ever after just like Geralt in Toussaint, but who knows maybe he will find something to cure him.
In the end, I highly recommend the game because I one of those people will buy the games from CDPR no matter how bad it will become and so far, they didn't disappoint me.
