Games looks exactly like the trailer and gameplay show back in the day, if you have the rig to run it, right now the game need polish and optimization, but what i got is what I expected, I hope i can see more of this world in the future
I cant put this game down 13h in and its the best game I've played this year.Worth the wait. The performace is okeish i get 40-60 fps on 1070/i7 with raytracing off and grain filter/motion blur.
The game in my book is a 8.3 due to the bugs. There are alot so far I've encounter small minor bugs no game breaking but they are enough to make me mention them here.
My advice if you are patient(unlike me) wait 2-3 months for CDPR to fix the bugs and improve the performace for a better experience.I have no doubt they will make the game better in the months to come.
If you still want to try I say you buy it you wont regrate it.
I played now ~10hrs and have to say that the game has a huge potential. The characters, the world and the feeling is incredible. But there are a lot of bugs at this point. Minor and bigger ones. I decided for me that i will stop playing this game for now. I really want to enjoy it, but the bugs are so annoying. I will have a look at this game in 6 months. cya
I've got over 4 hours in and so far not many problems. Runs smooth on my 2 years or so older system with a Nvidia GTX 1060; Intel i5 6400 w/16gb RAM. I made sure to update my drivers and clean up my system before the install. I'll eventually tweak the settings to get the most eyecandy versus performance. I started out on the medium settings and the game world looked great. I did have to exit after the character creation and restart the game due to some texture issues.
The gameworld is highly detailed with great characters, sound design, visuals. The combat seems a bit clunky and the opening tutorial is a bit confusing. I did really enjoy the combat tutorials. The character creation setup is fantastic with lots of options and details. I have yet to get into the meat of the main quest but the few quests I've completed went without any issues.
I have faith in CD Projekt Red that the wrinkles will get ironed out and they'll work to release patches and update the game. I think in a few months Cyberpunk 2077 will really be a gem. I'm not regretting buying this and will continue to play it over the next few days/weeks.
2600k CPU, GeForce 1080, 16 GB DDR3 RAM. Both CPU and GPU overclocked. Latest GPU driver for Cyberpunk, latest game patch installed.
Played yesterday without interruptions, not for long, 3-4 hours only, I used graphics settings that the game had set for me by default, didn't change anything. And I didn't had not even one crash, saw fps drop once, when I was driving car fast. The only bug till now that I had is a guy's hand stuck between 2 canisters after I killed him.
I played with keyboard and mouse, for me controls are no different than other games that I played, like
latest 2 Deus Ex games, or Mass Effect, etc.
I read reviews before starting game and had a feeling that game is almost unplayeble according to reviews. But most of what I read looks like haters bullshit. I don't deny that same players might have issues, the question is how many others experience this issue and is it valid for absolute everyone? I say no. I remember Deus Ex HR on release had both bugs and big performance issues. And that didn't stop from completing the game twice and enjoying it.
Don't read reviews, especially the dumb ones, written by haters, like 1 star cuz keyboard shortcuts are awful, I want refund etc.
If you already bought the game, most likely you enjoy playing games of this genre. So just go play the game and make your own opinion, see if any of the bugs like crashes, fps drop or other things applies to you. If it does and restrict you from enjoying the game, just put it aside and wait for future patches.
P.S. CDPR workers should organize a union and force their bosses to stop the crunches!
