I really enjoy the game but....

So it shouldn't come as a surprise but the game is buggy, so far 20 something hours in and no game breaking bugs. Now for gameplay, I actually found it enjoy I'm playing a melee build but I used guns too many melee though, story seems good so far, graphics amazing, music great, the world feels lived in. I love the atmosphere of the game, its by far my favorite part. Now besides the bugs, theres a few short comings that I haven't seen people addressed yet, that are a bit of a disappointment. 1. No car customization????? I swear I thought it was annouced once there will be car customization?? Hopefully atleast as dlc, I feel it would greatly improve the feel of the world 2. After you customize your character there seems to be no way to change anything, not even your hair style????? 3. Also no skill respec?? so far, im fine with my build but id like to try other things later on. So at beast this is a great game that happens to be super buggy, might be best to wait for a few patches, if you plan on getting it. I hope they add more to the game in the future, haven't beaten the main story as I am so side tracked by side quest and other stuff and dont really want it to end yet.

Really good but has a few bugs

In respect to PC, there's a few noticible bugs here and there, but nothing awful. I've played over 40 hours within a few days so I'm definitely having fun. The story, characters, first person cut scenes, and world are all really good and live up to hype. One thing to note is the actual life path lasts like an hour and then it just gives dialogue options for the rest of the game. The combat is actually really good, the guns feel crunchy, the melee works fine, and hacking creates unique situations. On hard difficulty, you die in like 2-4 shots so I find my self slamming heals a lot. An occasional explosion instakills me from time to time as well. Overall, I was suprised and RPG pulled off shooting of this quality. One thing I will say is that 1/3 of the weapons have ricochet and it feels useless. You need to buy a very specific implant mod to see where your bullets go and even when I was trying my best to ricochet kill a basic enemy, I just couldn't get it to work. Driving is fun and the radios have good music, collisions aren't great though and it feels floaty whenever you run into something. NPC AI is pretty bad: police materialize out of no where and NPCs don't really react to you. Sometimes enemies forget to fight you so they just stand there and let you headshot them. Loot is... ok. There are some good looking clothes and some fun guns, but there's only a handful of each type of gun. The clothes can look pretty ugly (especially pants and hats). I will say that the crafting and upgrading is nice, along with iconic weapons. Initial customization is great, except then you can't change anything about your character (at least from what I've found). Cars can't be repainted, clothes can't be dyed, you can half respec at a very high cost I guess. Basically, I just wish there were some of these options. Overall, I'm having a ton of fun but there are noticible bugs and lacking customization. I would buy if you have a nice PC.

I need to do this for the game...

I feel a alot of reviews and bad ratings comes for the fact thaat the game is filled up with bugs, theres no denying that, its has lots of them, buuut....leaving the bugs aside as it is a problem that can be fixed i think pretty easily by the developers i will make my review ignoring the bugs. With 40hrs in game i can assure you this is an excellent game; GRAPHICS: the graphics are amazing, even in the medium/high settings; THE STORY: gets more interesting and intense by the minute, you can feel and see the stakes rising at an exponential rate making your decisions even more important the more you get into the story; POV: i think they went the right way with the fps style, i just don't see this working in a 3th person view and feeling this immersed. CONTROLS: I've also seen many unsatisfied customers with the default keybindings but for me they are just the normal stuff, i don't really think they thought this to be played with controller, i think they put effort into both of the control styles. (I tried to begin the game with controller but then tried keyboard and mouse and i don't think i will go back to controller) CHARACTERS: I think the characters are one of the strongest part of this game, the characters are very interesting, you can get to know them pretty well, you can feel that each one of them has their own interests, and you really feel connected to a lot of them. SHOOTING: I think the diversity of weapons is a relief for this game, if there was only one type of weapon the shooting would feel just acceptable, like someting's missing, but thank god thats not the case, with the different types of weapons you can feel a change in the fighting mode, and its up to you what kind of weapon you choose; wich leads me to HACKING: I think we all knew hacking in this game would have a strong prescence, however i like that's totally up to you if you want to use it, yes it can make your combat experience easier, but you can decide.

Immersive RPG Lovers Wet Dream Come True

...and if you grew up on classics Deus Ex, Fallout, or the TES titles, you will feel the same. Sure there are bugs but nothing that would make the game unplayable (and I'm sure they will soon be fixed). Catch you on the flip flop, gotta run, got stuff to do in Night City.

Great Game not Perfect

The game is pure fun, i have 25+ hours before the act 1 mission. doing side stuff and just going about it like a stroll. the bugs are many but in my case they doesn't make the game unplayable, haven't have a single crash since day one. so do i recommend it yes. i have a potato laptop i5-8300h with 1060 3GB and 16GB RAM and SSD, and run it 1080 medium settings. there is a mod on nexus that allows to view more options in the settings, and have key mapping
