Not part of the hype train?

Don't believe the hype. I knew nothing of this game, but got it pre-release on sale for $35. I downloaded it on the 8th of December. Played it as soon as I could, so without patches. I saw no game breaking bugs and very few actual bugs. The next day the internet was flooded with disappointed hype train riders. I had no expectations and absolutely loved this game. It's like a cross between GTA and Fallout, and I absolutely love these types of games. Graphics are beautiful and the story is incredible. Judge the game for what it is and not for what it isn't. If I were to give this game a score, I'd give it a 91/100. A must play!

i like

i went into this game with 0 hype and i only watched 2 trailers, great game needs more polish but even so i played for 30 hours on a friends account and still wanted to buy it i think most of the hate is due to the overhype partly due to fans and partly CD red. if you come into this with no hype im sure you will have a good time but remember its not the witcher and it aint trying to be

Had no Expectation, ended up Great BUT !

Going in, i did not see much or believe anything i heard about the PR of this game. When i played, i was more than surprised and happy about the level of thought, details and ambition went into every aspect and every place in Night city. (as of writing) i have 86Hrs in with 86% of achievements done and Finished all Endings with Corpo alone. CDPR knows how to pull off a character nicely in the story, the game does have few branching paths ( defintely not as promised ) and there is alot of variety of cars and customizable gears BUT the flaws show up The Flaws Perhaps its pretentious of me to guess what happened behind development but still the flaws themselves tell a big story of what might have happened behind the scenes which you would be a fool not to ponder it yourself. The game is broken rn, anyone who plays it will realize that it is broken. Layered on-top that alot of these promised ambitious things in the game that never came about. There is also alot of previous drafts found for this game with constant rework and redesigns which also makes the current version puzzling. There is one game breaking bug in a side mission ( as of jan 1 ) and few design issues within the gear market system and alot of bugs for all players ;) My 4/5 I would have given 5/5, again I did not see or care about the PR all these years. I pre-ordered it, I was really breathe-taken by how much detail and love it had and Im very glad for its existence. I also wish my 4/5 as positive reenforcement for CDPR, love the ambition and the effort you guys have taken with this and please keep working on it to make it greater !!. The reason for not giving 5/5 is because of horrible bugs such as 8MB_Save_File bug and not being honest about it. The reason for not giving 3/5 is because i simply can not downplay or not appreciate the thoughts and efforts put into this game that has made it happen

Loved it from start to finish

I've beat it once playing a shooty character and it was entertaining as hell (had a big ol' revolver that spat out critical hits like they were going out of style). Going through now with a 2nd character focusing on hacking and it's a completely different approach to situations for me. While it certainly does have issues regarding bugs and poor controls they weren't enough to truly dampen the experience for me. At this stage I would call CP77 a diamond in the rough which will only get better as they continue to polish through patch updates. The game looks amazing and I love all the stories both large and small you come across as you play. It fills the hole left in my heart by the aging New Vegas and also feels like the Deus Ex game I never got to play (I missed out on the first Deus Ex by not having a computer that could play it).
