Is this game perfect at this point? Fuck no. Is it good? Fuck yes. Bugs need to be ironed out and I trust CDPR will do this. So far the quests and story is the most compelling I've seen probably ever. I'm willing to wait for the fixes, Fuck corporate and there deadlines..I'm sure that's the reason this game was released in this state. I mwill give CDPR devs the benefit of the doubt on this one and will wait for fixes and balance patches.
Is a nice Game! Good story ,nice grafik, good Sound! Release was bad lot of bugs and crashes !But the new hot fix 1.5 is very nice and make this game a lot better !
Bugs will fixed. Games have bugs.
Great dialogue, story, scenery, sounds and music. The game is pulling me in, constantly. The pacing of dialogue alone is making this game shine. I am trying to avoid playing it until I upgrade my rig. But hell, I can replay the game once I have better hardware.
I can imagine this game becoming an immersion fest after bugfixing and content expansions.
Cyberpunk 2077 is really a great game. I have to say, that overhyping this is the main problem this game has. It is this studio first shooter, and it is well done if you think of that. I had no major bug during gameplay and game looks awesome even without RayTracing.
In something over 60 hours I went through basically every available mission in the game.
Good
- Story is awesome.
- Immersion with V is great
- Keanu as Johnny is, well, breathtaking.
- Lever design is superb.
- Music. With combination of riding through Night city, it is so good, that is it is probably the main reason I went with all side missions.
Bad
- Police behavior if you are wanted. Maybe the worst part of all in this game. How could this behavior in this game be designed, developed and tested is beyond my understanding. It feels like a random cyber fart. It stinks, but only for a little bit.
- Buying a car. There is a lot of cars in game, but most of them feels useless.
- A lot of side missions are truly short and boring.
Need improvement
- Driving a car. Navigationg in map does not scale to speed. You cant see in first person.
- Skipping dialogs – Some dialogs, mainly in cars, were not skippable for me.
- Leveling some skills is broken or extremely hard. Athletics could be leveled probably only thanks to exploit found by some gamers.
- Explosions will kill you immediately even at max level and you having so much armor that a tank would barely scratch you. This makes melee combat almost impossible as explosives are almost everywhere.
- More side stories would be great instead of little side missions from fixers. I know that DLCs are coming in the future, but still.
Summary
I love the story. I love playing as V. I love being in Night city. There is a lot of things that could be improved or that are even bad, but game feels awesome if you are in for the story and a bit of RPG shooter spice on the top.
As with each game it isn't without bugs and needs some repairs in that section.
I can't say that the bugs are game breaking that makes the game unplayable.
Sure there is a big issue that you can't assign the key's a desired, but I found a workaround for that problem. Her'e are some thoughts from my point of view. I've made 2 seperate for con's as the second one is more the choice they've made for the gameplay, but doesn't necessarry make the game bad.
Pro's
- Graphics are incredible
- Gameplay (if you can change the key's) is nice
- A lot of things to see and to do
- Like the choice to start with Nomad, Street or Corp
- Skill tree is easy and manageable
Con's
- Keybindings are horrible (if you don't know how to bypass them, the game is unplayable)
This is one of the biggest issues and is a dealbreaker for me (luckly the internet came to the rescue)
- Floating objects from time to time (Johnny's Silverhand sigarets turned up floating 8 times)
- Handling of the cars isn't that great, after a little while you get used to drive them properly, but takes some practice
Gameplay con's
- It isn't possible to change the color of clothes or cars
- no air or water vehicles
- Only negative reactions of the npc's
- Car damage when colliding with other cars
- killing an npc by accident make it swarm with police (even with one star)
All in all it's a great game and I like to play it, but some things could be better and I hope they going fix/change some things to make the game even better. I believe they've missed the opportunity to add flying and water vehicles as they play a part in a setting so futuristic.
Fom me personally it was worth my money except for the keybinding ( a refund would be the case without the workaround I've found)
