I wanted another Witcher 3 and i got it. The game is beautiful, story is fun, and i want to play it everyday. There are bugs and glitches, but i know they will get ironed out. Even with the bugs it is still a blast to play
The game is amazing, city this big and fully accessible almost feels like a world it self. It is full of people and interesting places. Story is the best. I also love side quests and Gigs (I have not so far found a quest like take this and put it there without an interesting story behind). Usually I do quests like go there click-click-skip, kill, loot, go somewhere else. In this game, I enjoy almost every story behind the quest, enjoy riding motorcycle through the town, watch things, do things, go to clubs, dance, listen to music and maybe cook in real life while staying at the club (soundtrack is also nice). It is just a different kind of game for me and I love it. Dont have the feeling that i need to stupidly kill for loot and money, I can do plenty in quests and buy what i want. Well balanced.
Ofcourse there are(were) some issues. First was the sound (made correction with advanced equalizer) - this now looks like it is solved without announcing - dunno, it is just fine now. I also played the game on PS4 also and understand people who hate the game on it, but honestly... who wants to play the game on it can play it. I expected little more from But it is just not a game for ps4 in my opinion. Than there are small things like ugly character on inventory screen (this is really bad, I see there my character most often, and the graphic is just ugly; RT-Ultra setting; I´ve read that their working on this), quest bugs (i´ve experienced just one for which i had to reload), graphic bugs which i dont take into account, not disturbing but they are there. I bought new pc for this game and I dont regret it.
For me the game is perfect, 9,5.
I haven't been able to put this game down from start to finish. Honestly I've only played a handful of games I do side missions in because I love the atmosphere and this is one of them. I went in not knowing what to expect hearing a lot of noise about bugs. What I got instead was blown away by the sheer scale and fun on this game.
I found the controls easy to use, I swap to controller when I drive as I find that easier. The fighting is nicely done and I enjoy the combat sequences.
The graphics are amazing. I'm running a 1080Ti with a 5600x CPU and it runs at 100fps at max quality no problem even with the ageing GPU. I'm at the last section of the game and I look forward to starting again with different options.
TLDR; Game is immersive and the storytelling is incredibly in-depth. Happy I bought it.
I have played in Night City for around 36 hours so far. The games' atmosphere is amazing, whether you are riding in a car with someone or walking through market stalls. It's the atmosphere of the city that I love.
Cyberpunk combines aspects of games like Deus Ex, Doom, Borderlands and Blade runner into a heady mix of gameplay and exploration. The sheer attention to detail around every corner is amazing.
The game definitely deserves it's R18+ rating as it does not pull any punches in the subject matter or even the types of places and people you can meet within the city. This game is strictly adults only. So please keep that rating in mind and be responsible for yourself and others.
I have an aging GTX1070 GPU so initially I was very disappointed with the games' performance on my system. However, I managed to find the sweet spot for my hardware. Running on Ultra and 30fps. Which works really well for me. I have not looked back.
I've only experienced a few bugs here and there, and so far nothing game breaking. And no crashes. So it does not bother me at all. Only a crash to the desktop would stop me from enjoying a game. And 36 hours in it’s been smooth sailing.
I'm a huge fan of Keanu Reeves, so I automatically love the Johnny Silver hand character. And I think this might be some of the best voice acting and animation I've ever seen in a video game. The entire voice cast is amazing. They really went above and beyond the call of duty.
I’m looking forward to upgrading to an RTX3080, hopefully sometime in 2021 when supplies are back in stock and enjoy the game in 4K. Cyberpunk will be a PC graphics benchmark for years to come.
As a lifelong gamer I feel very lucky and honoured to play this game. Thank you CDPR, you rock! I must admit that I was never able to get onboard with the Witcher series. But Cyberpunk just clicked with me. I love it.
