I would recommend saving you're hard earned money on something else but in the end of the day you will be the one who will regret...
I've completed the main story line twice to see different endings and there is nothing in it that would make me play this game ever again.
Witcher 3 is my all time fave and I was more than happy to support the team behind that with this one. Rough start to an ambitious project but I fell in love regardless Cyber punk world with Keanu...Sold. Unfortuately they did not get the launch they deserved but the team made it right in the end with consistent improvements. Now I look forward to Phantom Liberty and all I need to ask is when can I preorder this. I try not to preorder, for understandable reasons, but I have faith in you, remain faithful and look forward to continuing to support the universes you build. Thank you for some amazing stories!
Although this game had a very rocky start, it still holds me in it's cybernetic grip! I've never experienced a game like this in my 30+ years of gaming. CDPR has patched it, the modders have enhanced it, and although there's only one DLC in the pipeline, Cyberpunk 2077 delivers on so many levels now. Story-driven genres weren't my usual style (mostly enjoying adventure RPGs or fast FPS's), but this title was truly an experience. And it's one that I'll enjoy experiencing over and over again!
The bugs people were complaining about appear to be nearly all fixed by CDPR. In all the time I spent playing this, I only encountered one bug, and the game didn't crash at all.
The cyberpunk setting is a bit depressing.
Dialog & characters were a mixed bag. Occasionally you have a line of dialog from Johnny that had me laugh a bit even after I stopped playing, but there were also times I wanted to skip some dialog from other characters who were often much less interesting. The dialog included satisfying options similar to what you may have experienced in other RPGs that allow you to intimidate/persuade others to change dialog outcomes.
The FPS gameplay was nothing amazing, but it was a refreshing change compared to the usual medieval fantasy RPG.
The level of character customization in the game was truly outstanding. The game even lets you choose if you want your character to be circumcized!
Story: 8/10 ... a bit thought provoking at times
Dialog: 7/10 .... mixed bag, some good some bad
Gameplay: 7/10
Characters: 6/10 Johnny was entertaining, but a lot of the rest were boring to listen to
Graphics: 10/10 ... nice showcase of what you can do with ray tracing
Considering it's a sci-fi RPG, there aren't many better options available released in the last several years despite the flaws this game has.
