MY review as an old gamer
I have come a long way since the first nintendo, atari, etc. When I was a kid Final Fantasy was my favorite series of RPGs and I loved the different stories, it had kind of open world areas later on the games which made it great for me. Gaming has evolved and the graphics and gameplay has evolved to levels that I never imagined. This game has a great story to tell. The game has bugs yes, but what CDPR said about the world is true, I have not seen a detailed city with so many layers in any other game, not even GTA V. The story is great and really cool sidequests. Police systems and other things are still not good, I guess for PVP and coop multiplayer they will be ready. This is a base game the story I am sure will continue and all that they promised is still to come on DLC in the future as per my perspective. My gameplay was on High end PC.

Still the same mess
My first experience with this game was at lunch where I played for about 40h. Ended up quiting because it clearly needed some polish and I didn't want to get to the end in that state. Today I decided to give it another chance, after all these years and all the supposedly amazing patches that fixed the game. Can't play for more than 1 minute before the game crashes. I start as a nomad and as soon as I get out of the garage at the beginning the game crashes. Wonderfull experience. My hardware is more than enough: 5800x3d, RTX 4070ti super, 32GB RAM... Maybe I should wait a couple more years?!

Great game , Runs Smooth Bad ending
Great game RPG in general . The romances especially panam could have been better, i dont normally review but the game is getting too much unfair bad press over "not what was promised" which is bacially people who though this would be gta clone or thinking everything shown to us would be inthe final build and blameing it on Lying " false marketing" and irrelevenat issues ""cops and ai are bad" The game is complete and an enjoayable ride and well worth the money Only 3 stars because - Vs "fate" is horrble writting choice and a sever detrimate to the game - the game is too short consider w3 it should have been longer than w3 not shorter -no third person is horrible design choice - Panam's romanse is not trated as well as Judys more romance contened need in dlc other than a solid game that run beaitfully on my maching with high fps and no tech issue, Please keep your statndards high . Always build for powerful machines and contiue to reachfor realizim in every way. If the ones having tech issues don't upgrade thier gear thats on them not you. Would have been 5 star game if not the above issues.

Presses all the right buttons...
Yeah I know, CDPR got a lot of hate for the general buggyness but on my slightly aged system (i7-6700K, GTX 1080) it ran just fine on max. settings and 1080p. I'm taking a star off my rating but won't complain too much otherwise as a lot of people have already said (too) much about that anyway. I just want to say I really liked the game. I liked the world, the map, the characters, the story & the gameplay. Yes there's room for improvement but in the end, Cyberpunk 2077 is more than the sum of its parts and it all came together beautifully. Oddly enough, what actually bothered me the most was that the cars! Everybody agrees the driving is rubbish so I'm not going to say more about that. No, what I actually hated was that cars have "features" like open fenders (Turbo-R for instance) and only one Headlight (Thrax). Yeah I know, they look cool, but these designs wouldn't work even in the "sci-fiest" sense. I'm probably more sensitive to this because I'm both a motoring enthusiast and a design engineer but still; I feel it breaks immersion and at the same time it would've been really easy to avoid if they ran the vehicle designs past someone who understands cars at some point.
