What is this game? GTA or Deus Ex?
I see a lot of misconceptions on what people thought this game would be. One of those is a GTA clone, which it is not. Do not expect a rockstar game here. So what do you get? A Deus Ex style game in an open world. If you liked Deus Ex mankind divided, then this is a great game for you. The gameplay feels the same, but a little less streamlined because of the open world character and a leveling system. Pro's: - Open world Deus Ex feel - Great graphics - Good story - Gunplay is good Cons: - Glitchy, on PC it's not a bethesda game luckily as bugs are concerned, but I've seen my fair share of t-poses and falling through the map for example. - Hand to hand/melee combat isn't much fun. It's floaty and unrefined. - The leveled state of the world means that you'll encounter bullet sponges if you attempt to beat enemies that are too high level for your character. - AI of cars and pedestrians is very weak Conclusion: It's a mixed bag, at times I feel like I'm playing Deus Ex and other times I'm annoyed by some of the design decisions. I'm enjoying this game a lot, but it's far from perfect. Don't believe the hype, but also don't believe the vitriol.

What a wonderful game
TL,DR: expect big and frequent, mostly hilarious bugs, along with frustrating audio and several other NPC based bugs that caused me to save frequently due to resetting the game so frequently. beat it at 68 hours and the only thing i found to say as a bonafide negative are these bugs and how wonky the driving feels. Just so wonky and floaty for me in every car/bike. However, understanding these bugs will eventually get patched out, overall the game is a stellar 10/10, loved every single bit of it and you should play it. I actually hopped on the bandwagon for cyberpunk pretty darn late. Of course I had heard about it, but didn't really care/wasn't planning on buying it until last minute before launch. From day one I was flat out blown away by how good the game looked, knowing I would be expecting to run into the same kinds of day one bugs that every launch game now has, AAA or otherwise, I was shook by how good everything sparkled at first. It was one of the first games to truly perfect that feeling of overwhelming dread from standing beneath towering skyscrapers covered in advertisements. The dankness of the city really did feel like a dystopian future. I have a 2080 (non-super) with an i9 9900k not overclocked currently, with 32 gbs of ram in one of the Thermaltake open cases. I figured this game would run fine on my machine on ultra and boy, this really did bring my system to it's knees. after hours of tweaking I landed on a mix of med-ultra with ray tracing on medium with DLSS on preformance, in 3440x1440 with gsync it ran butter smooth with no stuttering with or without HDR on, cant wait to see this get optimized overtime. Solid voice acting, solid story and character development, solid world building, wonderful diverse overall universe, from the unique dialogue between NPCs in the city, to the general sound effects of drinking from bottles, to the wonderful funny, low risk missions with content creators and others. 10/10 now and forever lol, games awersome

Patients!
Yes you can run it with a GTX 970, not the smoothest experience but it is ok. For the game itself, I'm still by my first playthrough but i don't know if my choices really make a big difference. It doesnt feel like a full rpg, more like a shooter with extra steps but thats ok because i'm not a full rpg veteran. Still the Witcher 3 felt more grounded and lively. There is a lot of stuff disturbing the immersion of the game, like the missing diversity in crowd behavior or npc routines. And yes it's buggy like the most games "get your sh*t together summer" ... But the bugs will be fixed in a few month and hopefully they add some extras. Anyway... I love that cyberpunk genre and the game feels like real cyberpunk. The lighting of the world is beautiful even without raytracing and there is no alley like the other. Every part of Night City feels handcrafted and makes you search all corners of the world. The soundtrack is really fitting and pumps up the gaming experience. It is like Bladerunner and Ghost in the Shell had a baby... Cyberpunk 2077 is not perfect but it is a really great game and in a few month of updates, addons, mods and patients... I'm sure it will scratch the surface of perfection. While there is just a 5 star rating I will rate it a solid 5 but it's more like a 9/10 (bugs not included!!!)
