Still a mess after how long?
Buggy pile of crap that still doesnt allow you to play the game. Good luck installing mods on top of that trash.

Lives up to the hype
This game is gorgeous and runs well on a 2070S/ryzen 3700x with RTX Ultra preset. It's an rpg but has lots of elements that remind me of immersive sims such Deus Ex and Dishonored. Despite my launch day issues, now with the game running I haven't experienced all that many bugs and I fully trust in CDPR to iron those out. It was an emotional ride getting here with a mixed bag of feelings on not being able to play when everyone else was despite preordering, but the game is very good. The bar of quality is so high here. I think everyone should give it a chance, not just rpg buffs or immersive sim fans. Everyone needs to try this game.

Needs some polish, but wow.
Assuming you have the hardware to support it, this IS the next generation of visual fidelity. However, the pandemic causing a global hardware drought means that CDPR released this game at one of the “touchiest” times. In a year or two, assuming CDPR supports the game, patches the bugs, adds the needed QoL fixes, and gives PROPER mod support, I think this game has the potential to go down as a generation defining masterpiece. Until then, expect a bumpy ride.
