Cyberpunk 2077

Title says it all, it's not perfect. Unless you've been living under a rock you've no doubt heard about the bugs, crashes, performance dips, inability to bind keys, etc. Yes, those are all problems that need patching out. Why the 5-star rating then? Because, in spite of these issues, this game is great. I've been looking for a different open-world RPG experience and this one certainly delivers. Visuals are gorgeous, soundtrack rips, combat is challenging, character customization is satisfying, story (so far) is compelling enough. I've not progressed far enough to really comment on the story at large, but I dig it so far. This game has devoured all of what little free time I have anymore. I love exploring Night City, getting sidetracked, upgrading gear, looting; seriously, this one just checks off all my boxes for what I want out of an open-world action RPG/FPS. If, like me, you also enjoy those kinds of games, then buy it. I don't have the best rig (HP OMEN 15 new as of 2019), but it runs just fine on my hardware. Can't wait to see how this is patched over time. In the meantime, it was well worth the price of admission.

This is a thoroughly satisfying cyberpunk experience that met all of the expectations I had for this project back in 2014 when I first learned of it. The production is obviously high-quality in all segments and the audio-visual design is impeccable - the soundtrack particularly is incredible, it complements both high-action and emotionally packed scenes in a perfect manner; Marcin Przybyłowicz deserves all the praise he can possibly get. The missions are diverse, both in gameplay options and aesthetic variety, and convey the game's moods and themes wonderfully - in addition to this, the writing is top-notch and the game consequently never failed to fully immerse me into its world. On that note, Night City is a vibrant place full of life and exploring it was a joy; gang members slavsquat while hanging out, people browse wares in stores, smoke on the street, sit down eating in restaurants, etc. The main story is brilliant and touches upon intriguing subjects that a lot of other games with the 'cyberpunk' etiquette slapped onto them fail to acknowledge and are shallow as a consequence, this definitely isn't a game that merely rides upon the popularity of the neon-lit puddles of rainwater and towering skyscrapers aesthetic. My issues with it are: - the lack of wallrunning - missed opportunities for role-playing (more dialogue options and clothing items contributing to stats would've been a welcome addition - e.g. netrunning suits contributing to intelligence, glasses to cool, heavy armor to body, etc.) - gangs come off as shallow (why bother creating all these different factions with no reputation system and lack of interaction with them outside of a few missions?) - backgrounds, the game should've just copied the etiquette system from Shadowrun that could be chosen via the cool stat, for example - minor visual bugs (hope butt-naked T-posing through the car doesn't get patched out though) - max FOV of 100 - no quickloading (I mean, seriously?) - male PC's voice-acting

Who needs to play a game with dildos everywhere? It is distracting and takes away from the game. I am sure there is a good game here somewhere but the developers need to decide what is important. The developers need to at least give an option to turn it off for those that want to. Cyberpunk 2077 is such a disappointment compared with Witcher 3 Wild Hunt. I would rate Witcher 3 Wild Hunt one of the best games I have ever played and yet Cyberpunk 2077 has to be the biggest let down in years. This game needed to not be released in its current state! Perhaps given another year of care and feeding it might be playable but it still has so much that is wrong I have given up.

Buggy garbage

This game is amazing, just buy it. If you have a high end rig there is little to no bugs. IDK what to say. THANKS for making a great game, Top 5 games i have ever played
