We all know the situation of the game on old gen console and that's sad ... But here , on PC the game is just stunning ! Yes there's still some visual bugs but not anything that important.
AND the story damm the story is really good even on the side quests !
so conclusion Cyberpunk 2077 is really a good game and when all the patches and fix are out this game will be a MASTERPIECE !
PS: even tho i still put cyberpunk under the witcher 3 (:
I love it, this is one of the best games of all times and definitely the best RPG that has ever been developed. The game is so big and there is so much you can do in the game that it's just staggering and the gameplay is very diverse too.
I personally have not encountered any game-breaking bugs, some minor bugs here and there and props to developers for reacting and fixing those quickly. I am aware that the game is quite buggy for a lot of people, but I still think that there's no reason to throw shit at anybody, the game is massive, so in time everything will be fixed. Absolutely recommending this masterpiece of a game!
Most reviews seem to be written after 1h of gameplay and complaining performance and bugs. My experience has been totally opposite! My 5 year old i7-6700K with updated 1080Ti card can handle Ultra settings, 1440p resolution with steady 60fps (4k drops to 20-30fps). After over 30h of gameplay: Zero crashes, minor graphics/physics glitches. Graphics are incredible, huge amounts of detail, world is very alive. Sometimes some scenes look flat and of poor quality, but this is due to occasional lazy light design. Character voice acting is mostly good or excellent, I really like that you can hear different languages spoken in the game (English, japanese, russian, Frech, spanish).V's voice acting is propably worst in this game, male V is over acting and trying to be too badass all the time. Female V voice actor is far better and has more emotional tone to dialogue.
Combat: Not much special here, combat in overall is good and ejoyable. Enough challenge, and mostly not too repetive. RPG rules are much alike in Witcher 3, it's OK but definately not excellent. I also dont like scalable items. I liked the choise of 1st person view over 3rd person view, I think that 3rd person view is pure cheating and makes games more easier and less realistic (if you disagree watch this youtube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=58nG88nGp80).
I have not yet finshed main story, but I have enjoyed the ride this far. Story is good, characters are far better and more interesting than I expected and not at all stereotypical. There is huge amount of side quests. Most side quests are very simple hit jobs or item recovery missions.
So to sum up my experience after 30+ hours of game play: Excelelnt story with great characters, rich and intersting world with great graphics. Good gameplay and game mechanics. Light and Mediocre RPG elements. Good combat and action. Overall preformance is good, steady framerates with my hardware, Highly recommended!!!
This is an astounding achievement; the detail and complexity of the world is incredible and works with the AI and environmental storytelling to create a city that I buy into completely. Cyberpunk 2077 is an immersive sim style RPG that manages to tell a compelling and personal story with stakes that feel immediate and important while also delivering a large explorable space that looks great whether you're on foot or in one of the many vehicles you have access to over the course of the game. The themes of the game are many layered and you get to explore them in as much detail as you want; whether you want to smash the system tm or work it to your advantage from within the game really makes you think about your choices and the people you meet and interact with ground the setting with an honesty that ties the whole experience together.
There's a lot of elements to a game like this and not all of them work. Having voiced player characters inherently limits the number of available dialogue options and roleplay, in turn the missions are relatively linear in terms of what you need to do, the only choices within them being how you choose to complete them. I have also experienced more than my share of bugs for a game that was supposed to be 'coming when it's ready' but I can live with these issues for one simple reason: this is the only game that has ever come close to equaling Deus Ex (2000) in terms of complexity and philosophy. Eventually the bugs will be ironed out and PC hardware will be able to run it properly. And then, we'll have a city to burn.
The hype train was a lot of fun to watch, and clearly the game under-delivers compared to what was promised.
That said, I'm playing on a "old" machine (i7 2600K, 16G, 1060Ti 6GB), and:
1. Not a single crash;
2. All on ultra/high expect shadows;
3. Smooth gameplay all around, no stuttering, no tearing, nada.
Sound design is amazing, really strong tracks. The atmosphere is also excellent, I love the city. It is H-U-G-E. The graphics are okay, but my rig is old so can't complain. The story is really, really good.
There are lots of imperfections in the game, but I can't remember a game that was perfect, so ... It's not Rockstar-level of minigames and "just chill in the open world". The AI is pretty dumb. There's limited interactions possible with the environment.
But I can't stop playing. The game is good, really good. Action packed, interesting combat mechanics, excellent story. I'm having a blast. So all in all, happy with my purchase.
