Crysis®

I thought GoG makes this game ready - IT IS NOT!!! U need 3rd party tools to make this works like u would expect it to work. But i guess this is still better than the so called "Remaster" on Steam. U need an unlock to go above 50hz. For that i went with Borderless Gaming tool. That also helps with Losless Scaling to make the game run at higher fps through frame generation (LS requires Windowed Fullscreen) Warning about the Maximum Immersion Mod from ModDb - it 100% crashes the game for me at 2nd level. No chance to load the second map

Awesome game (well, almost simulator) of modern combat for PC. For those who never played it - the money is totally worth it. Futuristic FPS with polished game mechanics and AI life. I mean where in modern games you find turtle on beach slowly passing by, fishies in almost real ocean, simple shacs with a lot of normal life tools, realistic explosions that actually topples down buildings? + The events occuring in Crysis could teoretically happen after 3 years... (2019) :) Bonus tip: After defeating final boss, make sure you max out your video settings... I guarantee you will be very surprised...

The first game in the series is fantastic, and its stand-alone expansion, as popular opinion goes, is even better. A shame the following sequels entered the realm of sci-fi weirdness - it gets very weird. Not to mention liberal fantasy land where the main villain had become the head of a company. I would say avoid the sequels, stick with the first installment and its expansion.

This is the only version that just worked out of the metaphorical box. Both Steam's and friggin EA's own Origin app don't have the 64bit version which is silly. Awesome game even 10 years later.

It looks just as good as modern titles if not better. But its unfortunently incredibly dull to play. The stealth is quite bad. Aiming down sight is a pain since it moves all the time and dosent shoot where you aim (or maybe the assault rifle isn't meant to be accurate, its annoying either way). The first part of the game dosent help in mending this, where you walk through a long forest only to kill 2 enemies and move on to another part of the beach with 2 more enemies. Shooting in general is a pain because all the initial guns spray like you've been drinking for 5 hours.
