Crysis®

Great game, starts off slowly but it picks up and gets faster and faster story wise and gameplay wise. It has some frame rate issues near the end but overall is good and the graphics hold up years later.

Game is great I have it on EA, however the GOG version will not launch at all, neither the 32bit or the 64bit .exe or any of the included launchers, log file points to "Could not enumerate GPU", so with that I tired to add the .exes to the control panel and manually select the dedicated GPU and also the integrated GPU, none of this worked, don't waste your money or your time until they patch it if ever!!!

An updated Far Cry (The original) as far as I am concerned, which isn't a bad thing. I really enjoyed the first Far Cry. The game is run and gun fun in a nanosuit with cool skills and excellent graphics. However, the constant crashing did destroy my enjoyment and the game became a chore, I tried every so called fix I could find, but still didn't stop it crashing. The final boss fight I could not complete, the constant crashing for a period of 30+ mins was too much to bear and I gave up. If you can get the game to run without crashing or minimal crashing I would recommend it, otherwise I would leave it. No idea if the remastered edition has the same issues.

This one is probably one of the best FPS ever. Great plot, great gunplay, and the graphics that even today are still good. Unfortunately it doesn't work properly on Win10, and this is a shame. I worked with the compatibility options losing a considerable amount of time and at the end i managed to get the game started, but it works only on DX9mode, which means no fullHD, no DinamicLights, no very high textures etc. A pity, because many years ago i didn't have a PC suitable for this game, now i have the PC but the game is a mess. But this isn't a 15-years-old-boxed version, it's the Gog version: it's really a pity that Gog, which should be the home of the old games, sells something like that. Obviously the technical support is not able to give me a solution. I don't want to give a bad rate 'coz the game is still great, but i am very disappointed.

Runs well on an old win7 pc and a slightly newer with win 10. I wont try running it on my new rig after reading the reviews. For some retro gaming on a retro machine this classic still kicks ass. Any chance of crysis 2 and 3 coming to Gog?
