Surprising City builder/RPG
Really entertaining game with a suprising and funny proposition. A mix with management game and a bit of RPG. The game seems to have bad reviews when it was launch due to some bugs but now this is fixed. I recommand to give a try.

Very fun
As of this post I have 46hrs in the game and I think it's great. To me the bugs and the interface are minor issues when compared to the gameplay. It's very immersive and has a lot going on in terms of business decisions and creative freedom. Lots of charm and replayablity. Don't hesitate to buy it on sale like I did despite the negative reviews. Knowing what I know now, full price is worth it to me.

Pretty fun so far!
I don't have many hours in, but when I read the reviews from other people I was really worried there would be a ton of bugs and the game would be terrible. It was on sale for almost nothing so I bought it anyway, and I have been pleasantly surprised. I think there are still some bugs, but it's not the mess that it apparently used to be. I've played for 5 hours or so and I could see getting at least another 15-20 out of it, so in my opinion it's worth the price.

Good Game, but No User Manual
The game concept is great. The graphics are good. The tutorial forces you through pages of unwanted material, even when you say you don't want the tutorial. There was a horse and coach stuck in the yard next to my inn in the campaign mode. Not sure how that was over-looked. A user manual would be a HUGE help. Rather than forcing players to play through the campaign mode to learn, they could consult the manual to find out more. GoG doesn't offer one. I've not gone looking through the internet to see if one exists. I'm unsure when my employees are paid. Nothing tells you that as far as I've seen, and I haven't been able to puzzle it out. The loyal employees are not always made happier by your praise, or with a bonus. It would be great to be able to see what they like or are missing/don't like so that you can deal with their issues and take better care of them. There are plenty of items to place in your inn. Obviously, the selection could be better, but being a technical writer in the software development industry, my preference is to have bugs fixed first. Once the game is stable, then new content can be added. I've not had the crashing issues that other people are reporting, but I am forced to use my son's computer, because the Anniversary Edition only works on Win 10. I overlooked that when purchasing this, so that's on me. Beyond that, it really is a fun game. I just get frustrated by not having a manual to look things up in and see what I need to do. I cannot get a second floor in the sandbox mode, for example. I have no idea why not. That would be outlined in a user manual.
