A Decent Game With Some Small Issues
The DLC's ending was a dumb setup for a(n apparently inferior) sequel, the brief pause before battles commence after their introductory cutscene got annoying quicker than it should have. But all in all, a decent game to play at Halloween, especially for those with fond memories of trick-or-treating on the day as kids.

Yo this is a pretty delightful game
I am not good at most games. This game is relaxing. fast-paced but not challenging. The dialogue is a lot of fun as are the action animations in the fight sequences. A light and breezy Earthbound experience.

A caress to the soul
There's no game like this (aside from its sequel) in the industry. A game that captures the American Halloween atmosphere so well. It's wonderful. - But it's repetitive and limited. I understand it's a title aimed to younger audience. Another negative point is that the game is "abandoned", capped at 30 fps, and lacks good implementation of resolutions, aspect ratios, etc. Even so, totally recommended for theSpooky Season.

The AMAZING Hallowen game
Just reading the game's synopsis made me eager to play it (obviously, I waited for Halloween to do so), but nothing could prepare me for how much fun this game is. It's very fluid, with repetitive combat like any other RPG, but it manages to overcome that very well. I'm really looking forward to playing the next one. HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

Clunky port from a console.
A classic story of evil shenanigans occuring on Halloween, and kids saving the day, storywise the game is on solid footing. Sadly, the playability suffers from the game being an obvious port from console systems. Controls, graphics and camera angles are not up to par. I would have expected more from the often glorified Double Fine Studios.
