the game does not openWhen I say new game it kicks me out

Doesn't work at all, only menu launches

I was surprised to find this game made for current OS'es. I looked for many years, tried the older versions but never got the game to work well. Now, this game works well again, music plays, sound is there etc. Yes it sometimes crashes (though since I changed it to Xp compatibility it didnt occur again) and I am enjoying it. Worth the little money to me.

It was buggy even when it was released... I remember unfixable crashes. Now situation is even worse. Game is pretty easy and casual if played with keyboard and mouse. Missions aren't fast paced but interesting. You can have 5-20 hours of gameplay.

This is the one I've been waiting for here on GoG. Being the favorite game of my childhood, It is therefor impossible for me to fully objectively review this game. I would however say: The game has a true emotional appeal, with great music and ambiance, strangely unique and artful graphics, alongside very interesting game mechanics, Some of which I have not experienced ever since, in any game of the same genre. Ubisoft Blue Byte and Related Design would have an immense amount of inspiration to draw from this game, unto their Anno series. I can't guarantee extreme enjoyment for those of you who have not experiences this classic game as a kid. But there is a lot to appreciate still.
