Challenging, near perfect puzzler

I've had this game on the Ouya, iOs and now PC and it's about as great as puzzle games get. The characters are lovable, the story is fun and it looks great. The music is catchy and does not get annoying and graphically it's beautiful. Most importantly though, the puzzles, the controls, the feel of the game is perfection. It's very challenging, but extremely rewarding when you succeed. Failure is quickly erased for another chance and there is no time spent sitting around. You're right back into the game and right back into trying to figure out the mysteries of the puzzles. The locations are varied and the dialogue is humorous, without being overbearing. You owe it to yourself to check this out. It's an absolutely fantastic gem.

Ultimately disappointing puzzler

This looked like it had a lot going for it when I picked it up and for the first few levels I indeed had an enjoyable time. However, the puzzles pretty soon became a case of same old, same old (admittedly it must be difficult creating yet another brainteaser based on the same limited dynamic), but later on some were so irredeemably awkward and irritating that any pleasure I was still having quickly dwindled. The music also began to grate and it became clear that the story (what there is of it) had been tagged on as little more than an excuse to break up the puzzle solving monotony. Perhaps its because the character you play as is a mechanical as opposed to living thing, or simply that the game was ultimately too thin and quickly overstayed its welcome, but as of this review it has been relegated to the 'have another go if I haven't got anything better to do' pile, which is both a disappointment and a shame as the initial impressions were good.

Not repetitive? Not annoying?

Played 30 mins and got first "recycled" puzzle situations in game. And a soundtrack of one mere song is annoying quite fast. As a mobile game for quick short sessions: okay. For a gamer at a PC with some time on his hands: quite repetitive, I think.

A simple puzzle game

The game mechanics are initially interesting to learn and experiment with and the world atmosphere sounds interesting. However you soon discover that that's all there is to the game. The music is monotonously the same, the art style starts to get old and boring, the story doesn't almost exist, but worst of all for a puzzle game, most of the puzzles are very very easy. You will finish this game in a day or two at most and you will feel unsatisfied. This could have been a better game if it had twice the number of levels, much harder and more varied puzzles, characters that you actually care about and maybe a story. Worth trying if you get it very cheap or if you like simple puzzles and don't expect much else from the game. Otherwise there are many better puzzle games out there.

An excellent puzzle game.

A very good puzzle game. The nature of puzzles are varied so that you don't get bored easily. Sometimes you need to use your creativity to solve puzzles. At some stages, killer robots will appear. To deal with these killer robots, you probably need to move around your robot a bit quickly. Other than that, the pace of the game is very relaxing. According to some review sites, there should be 25 stages. I so far finished 8 stages. It took me about four hours to reach this stage. Then the length of the game should not be that short. Graphics is pretty nice. If you are a puzzle game fan you won't be regretted to buy this game.
