Game of the Year without doubt
Perfect game in any possible way. Stunning story with a perfect story-telling, impresive visuals, excellent voice acting, BSO beyond perfection, stable, no bugs... If you liked the good Final Fantasy, then just buy the game and play it without looking anything. The few you know, the bettere. Enjoy the game and let the story to reveal itself. I guarantee you that this game deserves all the money. Don't wait to discounts, it worths full price. Just beware, there are HUGE spoilers out there. Don't search anything (because it will train your social feeds), don't look any video, don't read anymore. Just play and enjoy.

Expedition 33 When Gaming meets Art
Story 33/10 Art 33/10 Gameplay 33/10 Sound 33/10 My only issue with this game is Unreal Engine 5, some patches ago ( before the game came to GOG ) it was unplayable for me. Even though the situation got better the game was crashing after some really intense boss fights, after trouble shooting for hours ( fighting the same boss over and over to force a crash and find the issue ) sadly i found nothing and was forced to skip the cutscene and watch it somewhere else... I really hope they fix it in the future or with the rumoured upcoming DLC For those that come after

Great old school JRPG with a twist
Fantastic JRPG game with good combat mechanics within the genre. There a QTEs that are thrown into thew mix which many are confusing with Souls Like. It is actually much closer to the mechanics used in the PS2 game the Legend of Dragoon. Although I will admit you can see some inspiration from the Dark Souls games. The builds allow for depths and strategy, so it is possible to beat the game on normal with having to resort to perfock blocks or dodges, On hard mode you will need to master all of the above. The music is phenomenal. Voice acting is top tier. The story is strong and there is plenty of sidequests and additional content. Very few bugs if any. A great game that rarely has this much care and attention put into it these days. A must buy. The three weaknesses: 1) The story is great but is very convoluted which won't appeal to everyone. 2) The game can appear very unforgiving in the first instance with regard to the parry/dodge windows. There are tells that can be learned and even anticipated that are reliable but the game doesn't explain what those tells are early on. 3) The minigames whilst fun, a couple are frustrating beyond belief too.
