Gets better with every played hour
First of all: I played this game to the end (ca. 67 h)! I rarely complete games. Even a fantastic game like skyrim, which i played nearly to the end (a lot more than 100 h) i lost my interest in to finish it. Caves of Lore is not too long, not too repititive and has some secrets, some riddles to solve, that are not so obvious and boring like in other modern games. In the beginning, I was a little confused over the User Interface. It took me time to get along with some parts of the UI and the overall mechanics. But with every hour of gameplay i learned more and more about this things and get along with it. Exploring the world, improving your party and fighting various enemys was fun nearly the whole time, And if you´re not willing to fight every enemy you can increase the Stealth Skill of your party members to avoid too much fighting! CoL is a good game, more than that. That i only gavve 4 of 5 stars is mostly because of the pixel grafics. I´m oldschool, but i´m not a fan of it.
