Spell failure
No thanks. Not about to waste time being a squisy mage if my weakest spell fails for 3 turns in a row.

A non-starter
There's a rather decent set of game mechanics underneath, but the game explains so little of itself that the primary source of information about building something functional is unofficial guides on the web. Tough games can attract by virtue of their difficulty, but not so much when the difficulty is achieved by keeping base mechanics obscure, and designing the levels for "gotcha" factor rather than interesting layout. I don't know if it would spread out later in the game, but ten hours in the quests are still popping up in a pattern of one quest to advance plot, one side quest for grinding. I've seen guides that insist it gets somewhat better later, but with the many options we're spoiled with today, do you really want to invest that kind of time and frustration just to get to "okay"?

Gave it a shot.
The story seems great, but combat is absolutely awful. Just really, really terrible. I gave it a go, but I really just don't feel like sitting through a spell with a 70-90% chance of succeeding failing literally every single time I cast it, or having a 90% chance to hit and continually missing only to do 0 damage. Great concept, decent story from what I've seen, but the combat makes it not worth playing through at all. Legitimately the worst combat system I've ever come across. Unplayable. I don't really get what the 5 star reviews are for. The game certainly doesn't deserve them. Definitely going to be a lot more hesitant to buy anything from this studio in the future.

Fun characters
The characters you have to take trough their path to find the name are one of the best I have seen. The name! What name?! Play the game and you will find out. Barely average game but I really liked the characters. If you like that kind of stuff, the game is worth a few gold coins.
