Between the Stars

If you enjoy open world space simulators like Galaxy on Fire 2 and Rebel Galaxy, this game is for you. Very fun game with great potential, although missile turrets and flak cannons should be rebalanced. Flak cannons can easily get overwhelmed thus making them useless, while missile turrets are way too broken, especially the ones used by enemies. Some features that would be great is if we could change our ship emblem and colours after a ship has already been purchased, also feel that pirates ambushes should happen more often. More veriaty of radiant quests would also be great, and if posibble the abilty to upgrade ships (i.e ship stats and number of weapon and gadget slots). A great game, worth the price, cant wait for the game to leave early access.

The ships look good and the basic movements are intuitive. But the visuals are low grade, the voice acting is amateurish, and the story is like that of a cheaply made, early 2000s, TV sci-fi series. Instead, play Rebel Galaxy. It's light years better than this.

Really fun game, ship controls can be frustrating at times in the heat of battle. A in-depth crew management system that allows you to play how you like to play. Engaging story and music score that makes this game shine. I reccomend trying this game if you like space battles D&D style dice rolls .

I have been going through new spacefaring, battling, and trading games trying to find something special and enjoyable. I decided to give this one a go and get through the Prologue. I can say I'm already hooked. The climax of the prologue felt exactly how the story portrayed it. I will definitely be keeping eye for the development of this and am already glad I decided to include this in my library.

The game offers an enjoyable experience with the exception of controls. You have to use keyboard and mouse to control this game otherwise it simply will not work. You can connect whatever controller/stick you like, but you cannot aim your weapons except with the mouse.
