Like it so far
I'm not a veteran of the games series of baldurs gate so my review is solely based in what I experience in the game. For a newcomer to the series I will said that the system of combat is very fun and award the creativity of the player but we must remember that this is computer game and not table in the house of your friends so it will have there limitation like we can't solve every problem trying to flirt a demon or god with your bard. What we must hope for is the developers add every possibility way of solving one obstacles and what bring each path. About the history the premise is quite curious and make you wonder what will happen next. It's quite charming the fact that you don't depend of number of the armor or weapon surely help but is not the determinant factor of winning a encounter talking about encounter the combat sometimes gets slow I hope they will improve it in future patch. Well let's go to my least favorite aspect of the game the party members of course these part is completely subjective but I hate them especially Shadowheart don't trust that witch, Gale is a insufferable narcissist, Will is complete hypocrite, Astarion is Astarion I can endure his things... And for the last and most surprising Lae'zel I actually like her she is like a grumpy friend that I like to be around I know some of them were change to be less a pain like shadowheart (which i still think have a stick in the ass) and they were worse from what I heard... But like a said before this part is completely subjective. Beside that there are technical problems the usual from a early access like a corpse flying to the heaven or in the romance scenes have the body of your lover get through yours I mean literally his arm get through your face you can't avoid to laugh. And so far is good I expect some improvement give it four star for now... I not expecting a perfect game but at least I expect a game worth of my money so do not disappoint me developers.
