Always black screen on high resolutions
I use a 30" Display with 2560x1600 and has also tried 1920x1200 in all variations and have alway only a black screen (with vulcan interuptable, with Dx11 frozen. I have to reduce the resolution on my 8 core machine with GTX 1070 to 1680x1050 and to vulcan to get the game started.

Blown away!
Baldur's Gate I and II were two of my favorite games. Some moments I have experienced so far that I could only dream about when playing those games: **Mild Spoilers** 1. Dropping a stone block onto bandits, killing them instantly. The block also smashes through the floor of the ruins creating an opening I can jump down into, bypassing a locked door and taking the next group of enemies by surprise (though in hindsight, maybe the noise should have alerted them) 2. Actually being able to use stealth and sneak attacks to take out sentry goblins without alerting enemies 3. Using Jump and Feather Fall spells to scale massive cliffs and discover alternate paths into and around the enemy camps 4. Starting a fight by throwing a barrel of whiskey down two stories onto the burning brazier in front of the goblin high priestess 5. Soloing a boss fight with my rogue: First with a backstab and then using Misty Step to escape up into the rafters. Then raining arrows down from the rafters and using Hide as a bonus action to remain out of sight and undamaged

i have no regrets
To add some context , i am not a old baldurs gate player, nor a table player, i buyed because is a larian's game and i like their work, and AD & D universe is much rich, in fact i play neverwinter mmo, and played neverwinter nights 2 + mask of betrayer. I sense larian wanted to make a AD & D game, while TWOK wanted to profit from the name of the franchise, and older gamers want a baldurs gate game in the essence. About mechanics, if the game was rtwp i would not had buyed, even if some gamers like the style it is not for me, the only rtwp game i buyed until today is pillars of eternity, because the story and characters were too good to not try. And if i remember in a table game people take turns and play dice, so a digital turn based game it is not wrong. For a early version is working better than some games who are very broken even in the final version, of course loading of textures and some animations are with problems, but in beta stage this is expected. I admit there is a lot of influence from divinity way in the game and this will alienate a lot of AD&D players, what can hurt the sales in the final version, feedback of players can still make a lot of difference here.
