Unforgivable
The game is honestly unforgivably bad. It starts out okay but by the end the puzzles are just so unbeleivably bad. I got to the "crab race" puzzle near the end of the game and that was it for me. It is literally just random if you win or not. I would love to meet the person that designed that puzzle and just tell them to their face how stupid that puzzle is. I wouldn't even feel bad for telling them how stupid it is because they must know already how stupid a design like that is. It's random and it takes forever to watch these crabs walk across the screen and you have to win the race three times, that means you might do it five times... That is just the end of it though. The beginning of it (by which I mean the beginning of my frustration) was when you had to run away from some guards through the forest and the checkpoint before it was just too far back that it was annoying to keep playing the easy part over and over. It required way too quick of reflexes for a game of this type. It's just bad. I'm certain the only positive reviews of this game are nostalgic. I didn't have this game when I was growing up and so I can objectively say how bad it is. I don't have a tainted vision of it. The one positive I'll give it is that you can't get into a position where the game is uncompletable. If you die you just go back to a recent checkpoint automatically, you don't need to manage save games or anything. That's actually pretty good design for a game of the era but it doesn't make it a good game.
