Nice game, very bad GOG optimisation

Nice game, very bad optimisation, game is clunky, every motion is running incredibly fast... I mean if I download it with Dosbox, I get even better quaility for free...

Atlantis: The Lost Tales

The story is surprisingly fun. The game clearly shows its age and can be a pain in the ass sometimes, but it can still be enjoyable. Would be a thousand times better without the slide puzzles, i have nightmares about those.

Disappointed

This game seemed very promising with a good introductory scene , then good sound sound, clear voices and attractive sets; but that was not to be. Though the scenery was good the characters were terrible, looking like rubber toys with various uncontrollable tremors. This was very annoying, together with the messy sparkles when speech was indicated. The final straw was being frustrated by the long 'incarceration' caused by not being able to interact with Agatha, (the speech links were hidden below the screen), so the only outcome was the hero's approaching the door, but saying he should stay with the her, then spending ages trying to escape the upstairs gallery, because the rapid movement made finding the stairs very difficult. I just had to give up, as I have very many other games to try.

Play it once at least

Didnt think it was bad, a good time waster and a way of keeping your brain a little active on the weekends when you really didnt want to think too hard.
