I appreacite a good retro shoooter
I really loved the game, the raytracing implementation is good, i hope that wasn't a separated exe, i always forgot to go to that one.

A Masterpiece
I was the type of person that only plays games for the gameplay. This game made me change my mind :). The game is a wonderful visual and audio experience. At many moments into the game I've felt awe, joy, amazement and wonder when looking at the visuals of awesome environments and listening to the grandiose epic music. Being able to move your character inside a wonderful environment to enjoy it is something you can't do with videos or images, now I know how good it is. This game is a work of art, it's a masterpiece. The gameplay is great. It constantly changes enemy types and there's bosses too. The only things that are annoying are the small (but wonderful looking) platforms on which you move your character that often lead him to fall down during fights while dodging enemies. Secrets are also fun to find. I think this game is a MUST play for any person that likes first person shooters even a little bit. This is one of the best, if not THE best I've ever played.

PLAY THIS GAME
Amazing level design, fun and memorable weapons, fast and furious gameplay...A must for fans of the classic fps games like Doom, Heretic, Hexen and Rise Of The Triad. This game doesn't get enough recognition.

It hits the spot
Amid Evil is fast, visceral, and fun. It does the retro shooter right, keeping close to the spirit of the style while unabashedly looking flashy at the same time. All of the weapons are fun to use and have impact, the enemies are well done, and the level design is fabulous. All around great and fun game that I highly recommend!
