AMID EVIL

The combination of modern rendering methods, retro feel, and strong art direction — along with tight, responsive, and exquisitely crafted controls — makes this game stand out from other "Boomer Shooters." It’s fast and pushes you forward, while offering plenty of opportunities to explore and find those hidden items. Highly replayable.

Amid Evil is chockfull of great level design, tough enemies and a whole lot of fun!

Pretty fun throwback shooter mishmash, I wish there was an option for texture filtering, or a filter to make it look more like a crunchy DOS game. Like a lot of boomer shooters, it kind of takes the dozen years from 1993 to 2005 and puts it in a blender for the aesthetic, instead of trying to center it around one time period. Minor quibble though, overall fun to play and glad to see someone besides me remembers Hexen and Unreal.

Great gameplay. Greeat graphics. Great level design. Secrets hard to find. Strongly recommended.
