A really fun shooter

I had a lot of fun with it Pros Fun combat true enemy variety weapon variety beautiful visuals Long Levels Cons floaty movement weak narrative generic atmosphere Underwhelming bosses Difficulty inconsistent (on hard you're able to cheese most bosses in under 30 seconds, enemies are a decent challenge, while bosses do absolutely nothing to you) Overall really good, I prefer Dusk tho

An amazing retro FPS!

If you like classic first person shooters like Quake, Doom, Heretic or Blood, this game is a no-brainer, you should get it without a second thought. Along with Ion Fury and DUSK it is a fantastic and very, very well done retro-shooter. Graphics are gorgeous, it runs on pretty much any hardware (my PC is crap but it runs AE smoothly), it's fast and difficult and it has a great level design. Highly recommended!

One of the very best retro FPS out!

Amid Evil is an absolute masterpiece. One of the best feeling FPS games I have ever played. Combat and movement are just so fluid and fun. Level design, sound design, and soundtrack are top notch. And I LOVE the graphics and art style - the graphics are so unique, and are just so cool to look at. One of the kings of the retro shooter revival, and a must play for all FPS fans. If you thought you'd seen it all...

This game is a fantastic "boomer shooter" with all the cool weapons and enemies and level design that entails. No weapon feels useless, they all work excellently and the soul mode allows every weapon a powered up attack. Amid Evil is a fantastic entry to the genre and even if you've played these types of games since you were a kid, Amid Evil will surprise and delight.
