AMID EVIL

Amid Evil is an absolute masterpiece. One of the best feeling FPS games I have ever played. Combat and movement are just so fluid and fun. Level design, sound design, and soundtrack are top notch. And I LOVE the graphics and art style - the graphics are so unique, and are just so cool to look at. One of the kings of the retro shooter revival, and a must play for all FPS fans. I had a blast playing this game, with really interssting level design and probalby the best "rocket lauuncher" in a game to date

This game is a fantastic "boomer shooter" with all the cool weapons and enemies and level design that entails. No weapon feels useless, they all work excellently and the soul mode allows every weapon a powered up attack. Amid Evil is a fantastic entry to the genre and even if you've played these types of games since you were a kid, Amid Evil will surprise and delight.

It is a shooter, but somehow is a fresh experience. The weapons have their own quirks even the starter one, and all are useful which not all games can accomplish well. The overpowered habilities of the weapons are not as useful (There is a really broken one) but are at least satisfying. The worlds have distinguishable themes (and architecture) and while not all enemies have exclusive original paterns between worlds, they are diferent enough to make you feel like traveling distant worlds. The soundtrack music is excellent. Overall a quite good one.
