The Heroes Killer
when TBS game were dominated by the "Heroes" franchise , along came the best contender to the crown. in a sea of clones came this ship of hope delivering new ways to walk in an old known road. a masterpiece.

Really delivers perfect mix of RPG/TBS
Kind of a mix between heroes and warlords with a great amount of awesome added to it. 2 multipath campaigns, well working AI diplomacy, relations, unit combos, 12 races with over 100 different units. Design your own heroes as mage or fighter or any mix in between. Clear out dungeons and conquer your enemies. I can go on for pages, but the bottom line is that this is THE BEST TBS i have ever tried.

The Fantasy Strategy Game par Excellence
The best and most unique feature of AoW as compared to Master of Magic or Heores of Might and Magic, is the large and detailed combat system, which adds a strategic depth that Heroes (much as I love those games) tends to lack. One of the few 4x style games where a large number of low level units behind fortification can defeat higher level units, which adds alot of strategic depth. An essential for any strategy fan.

Amazing game, kept freezing
Love this game but had many screen failure errors making it consure many hours to do things that sould have been relitively fast.
