Description

Follow the grim tale of young Amicia and her little brother Hugo, in a heartrending journey through the darkest hours of history. Hunted by Inquisition soldiers and surrounded by unstoppable swarms of rats, Amicia and Hugo will come to know and trust each other. As they struggle to survive against overwhelming odds, they will fight to find purpose in this brutal, unforgiving world.

1349. The plague ravages the Kingdom of France. Amicia and her younger brother Hugo are pursued by the Inquisition through villages devastated by the disease. On their way, they will have to join forces with other children, and evade swarms of rats using fire and light. Aided only by the link that binds their fates together, they will face untold horrors in their struggle to survive.
As their adventure begins… the time of innocence ends.

The Last Of Us for Dummies

Take everything you know about The Last Of Us, flaws included, replace guns and bottles with a sling and vases. add fixed and autoaim-able distractions remove combat, smart AI and freedom of approach turn character models down a notch That's "A Plague's Tale": like The Last Of Us, it's a nice linear adventure with a rather simple gameplay concept and a very nice presentation, but contrary to The Last Of Us is too basic and restrictive to fool people into believing it's a masterpiece of gaming.

A Rats Tale, actually

Don't expect a heavy story of disease and plague, it's actually an action game co-op with rats, sometimes with a little stealth. You should kill evil Englishmen and fanatic clerics as many as possible, and rats are very efficient weapon to kill them. Action parts are at least not bad, but the story writing is terrible and you may be stunned with disappointment after the end of the game.

good

but nothing special. Locations are beautiful, but everything is very linear and scripted. Animations are rather poor. Main hero, Amicia, moves like 90 yo grandma. Game starts well, but quickly descends from gripping - yet simple - stealth adventure to button juggling nonsense. Asobo, maybe add gameplay to your next game. Could help you know

Console game

This is beyond bad feeling on keyboard and mouse, and I have no idea what it feels like on a controller as I don't use one. Literally killed a guy throwing pebbles at him, he was fully armored from head to toe, but a few pebbles later he was dead. All the while, extremely frustrated because the controls for this game are absolute trash. The mouse sensitivity and camera movement is probably the worst I've ever felt in a game. Does this have a good story? I have no idea, because I'm not going to be able to finish this and keep my sanity.

Women didn't wear pants in the 1300s

I realize it's just a game, but games that are loosely based on history should try and at least be halfway accurate. I got a refund after 2 minutes of playing, call me crazy, I really wanted to play it but it's the little things (well, not so little) that make me hate a game. I can't take it seriously. The heroine wearing pants would have created a huge scandal at the very least, jailed or worse more likely
